The 2025 Travelers Championship Recap

Cromwell, CT – Keegan Bradley has won the 2025 Travelers Championship, the final “Signature Event” of the 2025 PGA Tour season.  This is the second time he’s won the Travelers Championship in the last three years and is his eighth PGA Tour career win.  Along with the title and enough points to leap into the FedEx Cup points top 10 rankings, he also earned $3.6 million in prize money.

Bradley has never been shy about his love for the Travelers Championship.  In the past, he’s referred to it as having the same importance to him as a major due to being from the local area.  He certainly showed that passion with his reaction to making a short birdie on the last hole to win outright.   With a final round of 68, he would win the tournament by one with an overall score of 15-under.

Tommy Fleetwood continues to remain one of the best professionals without a PGA Tour win.  He has now had 42 top ten finishes and 11 top three finishes without a victory.  Despite entering the final round with a two-shot lead, he would come up just short due to a two-over round of 72. The round started poorly with three bogeys in his first four holes and finished poorly too, with two more bogeys in his final three holes.  He and Russel Henley would both finish in a tie for second place with a score of 14-under par.

World number one Scotty Scheffler continues to be an ever-looming presence as well.  He was in the hunt for the tournament through two rounds, but was derailed after a rare triple-bogey on the first hole of his third round which led to him carding a 72.  While he did play better in his final round (shooting a 65), it was not good enough to finish better than a tie for sixth alongside Rory McIlroy.  The pair would both finish with scores of 12-under par for the tournament.

Next week, the tour will move on to Detroit, Michigan, to play the Rocket Classic.  Cameron Davis, a two-time winner of the tournament, will be looking to defend the title he won last season.  He’ll be up against a slew of other former Rocket Classic winners, including Rickie Fowler, Tony Finau, Nate Lashley, along with the current number four world-ranked player, Colin Morikawa.
