No Dye, No Problem – New Footwear Collection Helps Save Water and Energy
CARLSBAD, CA – Today we’re introducing some special footwear models – our No-Dye Collection – where the upper is made entirely with the material’s natural colorway. This no dye technology works with a material’s natural color to cut out the water thirsty part of the process – the pre-treatment phase of conventional dye techniques. By focusing on using the material in its natural form, we use less water and energy. It’s another area where we are looking for ways to be more sustainable beyond our initiative to help END PLASTIC WASTE. This unique selection will be featured in our adicross ZX PRIMEBLUE and new ZG21 Motion footwear for both men and women.
Since we create so many products, we’re always looking at ways we can do better about our impact on the environment, and that includes the way we use water to dye materials. The naturally colored fabric does require a post-treatment step to achieve the same performance qualities, yet still achieves an average of 60 percent savings on water and energy.
The absence of dye in this footwear will give golfers a distinct look and style as they head to the course. Beyond the look, all models within this collection are also part of our standard to use materials to further our mission to help END PLASTIC WASTE. Specifically:
adicross ZX PRIMEBLUE
New to the range for this season, the adicross ZX PRIMEBLUE is inspired by our Originals ZX series. The timeless franchise that has been part of our brand for more than 30 years first came to golf when we introduced the ZX 8000 Golf in September of last year. This no dye version features the same adiwear and Traxion outsole for the grip golfers need, coupled with the signature Torsion bar for added stability. The textile upper is made with yarn containing a minimum of 50 percent Parley Ocean Plastic as part of our mission to help END PLASTIC WASTE.
ZG21 Motion / ZG21 Motion BOA®
We’ve taken the upper of our ZG21 that we introduced in January, and have redesigned it to be made in part with recycled materials. This special no-dye version will introduce another chapter for ZG21 by incorporating a textile upper made with a minimum of 50 percent recycled content. The line also introduces a new BOA® model for men and women that features a sock-like opening for added stability and the new PerformFit™ Wrap powered by the BOA Fit System; a ‘Y’-strap design that creates a secure fit over the instep and provides flexibility and freedom in the toe box. We will be bringing more colorway options soon in both laced and BOA models.
The No-Dye Collection will be available worldwide on adidas.com, the adidas app and at select retailers on Friday, August 20.

PXG Invites You to Reinvent Your Game With Its Fall Winter 2021 Collection
SCOTTSDALE, AZ – PXG is pleased to announce the launch of its Fall/Winter 2021 Apparel Collection. Designed with a modern and edgy flare with an emphasis on style and wearability, this sport fashion collection highlights the duality and versatility of the apparel, proving it is performative on and off the course.
Fall/Winter 2021 was inspired by the incredible power, resilience and new beginnings we have experienced this past year. New York City provided the perfect backdrop for the collection.
“New York City has always been one of my favorite places in the world- the vibrant energy, diversity, strength and endless innovation found in NYC was at the forefront for the Fall/Winter 2021 Collection,” says President and Executive Creative Director of PXG Apparel Renee Parsons. “I wanted to create pieces that reflect the way I feel walking through the streets of New York: renewed, invigorated, and empowered to take on anything.”
The designs of Fall/Winter 2021 pay homage to PXG’s DNA. From sophisticated monotone hues, to performance driven designs, to the presence of strong logos, each piece was designed to highlight the core PXG brand tenets. Parsons states:
“For this collection, we looked at the details that make our brand innovative, sexy and exciting, and updated these features in an urban and edgy way.”
Fall/Winter 2021’s color palette ranges from shades of black and white to tan and green including PXG’s seasonal color, “Warrior Green.” This collection uses muted hues to highlight the luxurious textures and fabrics made of eco-leather, cashmere and sustainably sourced cotton. The shapes are all encompassing yet soft and structured: the skirts introduce new movements and elegance, the sweaters are bold yet enveloping, the blazers and pants are tailored yet comfortable and the puffer jackets give ease and protection. The range of offerings includes lifestyle pieces for any occasion, challenging you to reinvent your game far beyond the golf course.
PXG Apparel is not only advancing its wearers performance, but the brand’s performance as well. In keeping with PXG’s commitment to sustainability, half of the Fall/Winter Collection has been sourced and produced sustainably. Fabrics made from recycled products, produced in green facilities, including mills and factories, and the inclusion of environmentally friendly and socially responsible textiles, makes this collection the most sustainable to date.
