What about making sure the same ball you play is used during the fitting for new clubs. Important or not so much?
Doug,
Great question. Yes, using the same ball you play is important which is one of a number of reasons why I prefer indoor fitting. Not only will it affect the way the clubs feel, it will have an effect on performance. For example, if you play a low spinning ball but get fit with a high spin ball, the driver you end up in may not spin enough to create optimal carry.
Best,
Matt
It’s alright to just want a new guitar… until you have a Strat, Tele, 335 and Les Paul you are still building your foundation. For me, putter lust is a real problem. It’s irrational cause sinking putts is technique and practice but I can’t help it. What’s your opinion of the PXG putters?
John,
PXG’s putters are excellent. Lots of reviews here: https://pluggedingolf.com/?s=pxg+putter+review
