PXG Introduces the PXG Mustang ZT Putter, Expanding Its Zero Torque Technology Line

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – PXG has introduced the new PXG® Mustang® ZT Putter, the latest model in the company’s Zero Torque collection. The design builds on PXG’s ongoing research in torque elimination and stroke stability, combining advanced mass properties, precision milling, and material integration to deliver consistent face control through impact.

At the core of the PXG Mustang ZT Putter is PXG’s Zero Torque design, an engineering approach that keeps the face square to the stroke path throughout the motion. PXG’s patented S-hosel configuration positions the shaft axis just above the center of gravity, creating a defined toe-up balance point. With the center of gravity situated just below the shaft axis, no torque is generated from the CG relative to the axis point. This geometry minimizes face rotation and allows the stroke to remain stable with little to no external manipulation from the golfer.

The clubhead is precision-milled from 303 stainless steel and constructed with a hollow-body design injected with PXG’s proprietary S-CORTM polymer. This material stabilizes the structure while enhancing sound and feel. The hollow-body design positions the center of gravity closer to the face than traditional solid-bodied putters, enabling the hosel to be placed farther forward for improved balance. By redistributing mass to the outer perimeter of the clubhead, the design achieves a higher moment of inertia relative to its size, improving forgiveness and resistance to twisting on off-center strikes.

The Mustang ZT Putter features PXG’s ultra-thin face, measuring just 0.055 inches. The face is milled with PXG’s signature Pyramid Face Pattern, engineered to provide consistent interaction with golf ball dimples and enhance initial ball skid and roll. The milling geometry produces the soft auditory feedback of an insert-style putter while maintaining the responsive feel of a solid milled surface. The combination of reduced face thickness and polymer support also helps control vibration frequency for a uniform acoustic signature at impact.

Standard specifications include a 4° measured loft, playing effectively as 3° with an integrated 1° of forward press. The stock head weight is 365 grams, with an adjustable range from 350 to 385 grams.

The PXG Mustang ZT Putter is now available through PXG retail stores, fitting studios, and authorized partners.

CHICAGO, IL – As part of its commitment to investing in local communities and building a lasting legacy, the Presidents Cup proudly announced a $250,000 donation to First Tee – Greater Chicago. Golf’s premier global team event, featuring the sport’s top U.S. and International players, will be contested at Medinah Country Club, September 22-27, 2026.

“In its 30-year history, the Presidents Cup has always been about more than world-class golf — it’s about creating a meaningful legacy in the communities that welcome this event,” said 2026 Presidents Cup Executive Director Joie Chitwood. “We are proud to support First Tee – Greater Chicago with this $250,000 donation, which will help expand their impact and empower even more young people through the life skills and values taught by the game of golf.”

The donation was presented during a special event at Soldier Field on Wednesday, October 8 as part of Presidents Cup Captains’ Visit. The event brought together U.S. Team Captain Brandt Snedeker and International Team Captain Geoff Ogilvy for a press conference marking the one-year countdown to the 2026 Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club. Following remarks, the festivities continued with a charity shootout benefiting First Tee – Greater Chicago, which was formatted into a spirited U.S. vs. International competition.

Alongside the captains, each team featured representation from First Tee participants and celebrity shots from Staley the Bear and Chicago Bears General Manager Ryan Poles, creating a memorable showcase and celebration. The check presentation served as a highlight of the day, underscoring the Presidents Cup’s commitment to leaving a lasting impact in the Greater Chicago.

This year marks First Tee – Greater Chicago’s 25th anniversary, a milestone that celebrates a quarter-century of empowering youth through golf. The charitable dollars from the Presidents Cup will help First Tee – Greater Chicago continue its mission to inspire and equip young people with the life skills, confidence, and values they need to thrive on and off the course. Together, the Presidents Cup and First Tee – Greater Chicago are building a stronger, more inclusive future for the next generation of leaders.

The donation brings the 2026 Presidents Cup’s charitable donation total to $500,000, with the First Tee donation coming on the heels of a $250,000 contribution to the DuPage County Crisis Recovery Center in September. Since its inception in 1994, the Presidents Cup has generated more than $56.5 million for charitable causes globally. The 2026 edition of the tournament marks the event’s first playing in the Chicagoland area, where the golf community and civic leadership have long partnered in driving positive change.

Fans are reminded that general admission tickets for the biennial global event are now on sale at PresidentsCup.com/tickets.
