Rife Captures Victory On LPGA Tour At The Reignwood Classic
Sanford, FL – 2012 LPGA Championship winner Shanshan Feng captured her 2nd LPGA victory in dramatic fashion this past weekend in her home country of China at the Reignwood Classic held at the Pine Valley Golf Club in Beijing.
Feng, who last year became the first golfer from mainland China to win an LPGA event when she captured the Wegmans LPGA Championship, won with a flourish. Trailing by one shot on the Par 5- 490 Yard 18th Hole, the-24-year-old pride of Guangzhou, China rattled the flagstick on her approach shot and then drained an eagle putt using her RIFE Mr. Beasley putter to capture a one stroke victory.
Feng surpassed the $3 Million mark in career earnings with this 26 under par 266 victory and moved up to #8 in the Rolex Rankings.
“All of us at RIFE would like to congratulate Shanshan (Jenny) on this victory,” said Kyle Ulrikson, RIFE’s LPGA TOUR Rep. “She is a very talented player and we all think this is just the latest of many more victories to come.”
Feng is just one of the many non-endorsed Professional Tour Players who choose to play a RIFE putter even though they’re not paid to play it. “The Tour Players play our putter because it helps them earn a bigger paycheck on Sunday,” said Jim Barfield, V.P. of Tour Operations for RIFE Golf, “and we’re very proud of that. Our RollGroove Technology grips and lifts the ball into an instant forward roll and gets it on line and headed towards the cup quicker than any other putter in the industry. If it’s good enough for the best golfers in the world you can bet it’s going to help you sink more putts as well.”
Fujikura Dominates In Distance And Accuracy On The PGA Tour
Fujikura marketing manager, Stephanie Hartgraves confirmed that the shaft is now available at select certified Fujikura Charter Dealers. She also gave a statement about the shaft’s performance. “We are beyond excited here at Fujikura because we have really set the bar high with this product, which took a lot of time, engineering and testing. We had the immense challenge of making the best shaft in history, better. Kudos to my team, mission accomplished. Player testing in Japan produced greater distances than competitor shafts in 100% of players.” Hartgraves continued by saying, “The Speeder757 has only been available since October 1st and our social communities (FB, Twitter, Instagram, Blogs/forums) are already flooded with great stories and ‘Thank You’ messages. It is incredibly rewarding to have such a positive impact on the equipment industry and the overall enjoyment of the game!”
Mizuno Announces New JPX Fli-Hi’s As Direct Long-Iron Replacement
Norcross, Ga. – (Oct. 8, 2013) – Mizuno USA, a world-class leader in golf technology and development, released the latest addition to the JPX lineup to coincide with the ultra-popular JPZ EZ line of forged and cast irons, JPX FLI-HI. Geared to be a direct long iron replacement, the FLI-HI provides golfers of all levels an easy to launch, extremely forgiving club with an easy-to-hit, hybrid-shaped head.
Mizuno created the JPX FLI-HI as a seamless replacement for those hard to hit three, four, five and six irons in a traditional set of irons. The FLI-HI’s have the look and feel of a hybrid yet are intended for much more precise yardages to give players an easy to launch club they feel confident swinging at address.
The FLI-HI’s drop down crown gives it an extremely low COG providing an easy, high launch angle and steep, controlled landing angle to enable players to shoot for the pin and hold greens. A thin sole portion of the club head flexes throughout the face upon impact to be forgiving on shots, while still providing ample distance to reach the green.
“For years we’ve created FLI-HI’s that are so easy to hit, it’s like cheating, and for those folks who have difficulties with the long irons, the JPX FLI-HI is the perfect replacement,” said Chuck Couch, VP of Product Management, Golf Division. “Once golfers get their hands on the FLI-HI they’ll know what all the hype is about and never take this club out of their bag.”
Available in multiple lofts for golfers looking to replace those hard to hit long irons, the JPX FLI-HI’s offer flexibility to create a fully integrated and customizable set to meet the needs of the golfer’s game.
