New Scottsdale Putters Offer Feel, Forgiveness and Custom Fitting

PHOENIX, AZ Nine highly forgiving models engineered with a face insert influenced by athletic-shoe technology comprise the new Scottsdale putter family, PING CEO & President John K. Solheim announced today.

The Scottsdale Craz-E, Prime Tyne 4, Prime Tyne C, Oslo 3, Anser, Anser 2D, Anser 4, B63 and DS72 are available for pre-order at PING authorized retailers around the world beginning today. The U.S. MSRP for each putter is $270. A SuperStroke grip is standard on all models.

The company also introduced the WebFit Putter app, a web-based fitting tool engineered in-house to help golfers find the PING putter that best fits their game. Similar to the popular WebFit Wedge app launched last year, it’s a quick and easy experience to help golfers find a PING putter that will greatly improve their performance on the greens.

Soft, Responsive Insert, Increased MOI

PEBAX elastomer, a material commonly used in the soles of athletic shoes for its elastic properties, is a lightweight, high-energy-return compound that delivers a soft yet responsive feel in the one-piece insert, leading to improved distance control and consistency.

Impact stability in every Scottsdale model is advanced because of the large face-insert cavities that allow weight savings to be re-distributed farther toward the perimeter to increase the MOI. Optimally placed CG positions help reduce skid and initiate forward roll.

“The combination of the softer insert and higher MOI in every model deliver the preferred feel and ball-speed control many golfers need to improve their consistency on the greens,” Solheim said. “In some of the models, the heads are slightly larger than previous versions to ensure even more forgiveness. We like to categorize these as game-improvement putters.”

Easy To Aim, Fit For Stroke

Every model features subtle color blocking between the top rail and back portion to draw focus to the front of the putter for better alignment. With various head sizes and shapes across the family, golfers can match a blade, mid-mallet or mallet to best suit their eye. The mid-length Craz-E CB build is 37.75″ with a 17″ SuperStroke grip. All three PING stroke types (Straight, Slight Arc, Strong Arc) and hosel styles are represented in the series to ensure a choice to fit every golfer.

“We continue to encourage golfers to take the time to get custom fit for their putters,” Solheim said. “From finding the best stroke type for your game to matching the putter’s look to your eye, a custom-fit putter can make a huge difference on the scorecard.”

Scottsdale Model Descriptions & Specifications

Scottsdale Craz-E – Mallet
A Tour-proven PING classic known for its alignment features and extreme MOI that comes from perimeter weighting and a low/back CG.

Scottsdale Craz-E CB – Mallet
Mid-length build combines a longer shaft and grip with the Craz-E head to allow golfers to grip down for more stability.

Scottsdale Prime Tyne 4 – Mallet
This highly forgiving mallet is distinguished by its twin-fork design that gives it exceptional balance.

Scottsdale Prime Tyne C – Mallet
This center-shafted model will appeal to players who set up better with no offset and who have a straight stroke type.

Scottsdale Oslo 3 – Mallet
This high-MOI mallet is perimeter weighted and has a low center of gravity for accuracy, helped by a ball-width back cavity for easier aiming.

Scottsdale Anser – Blade
The winningest putter of all time is heel-toe weighted for forgiveness and accuracy, and its back cavity with a single alignment line makes aiming easy to inspire a confident stroke.

Scottsdale Anser 4– Blade
Shares similar design characteristics with the classic Anser – heel-toe weighting for forgiveness, clean alignment — but is designed with a hosel that assists a strong-arc stroke.

Scottsdale Anser 2D – Blade
This slightly deeper, perimeter-weighted blade design has similar weight, size and forgiveness of a mid-mallet putter.

Scottsdale B63 – Blade
The Tour-inspired, perimeter-weighted B60 model becomes the B63 with a soft-slanting hosel that matches the soft head geometry for visual balance.

Scottsdale DS72 – Mid-Mallet
The Tour-inspired DS72 has a ball-width PEBAX face insert that matches the ball-width cavity to make aiming easier.

Stewart Golf Launches V10 Remote

HOUSTON, TX – Stewart Golf introduces its most advanced electric trolley yet, the V10 Remote. Available in the U.S. for the first time, the V10 Remote combines the company’s tried-and-true chassis design with its groundbreaking Active Terrain Control (ATC) technology.

The chassis—which builds on the legacy of Stewart Golf’s highly successful X Series trolley—features a streamlined profile and sleek, five-layer Senosan® composite finish that makes it a standout on any fairway. Available in two color options—metallic silver and pearlescent white—the V10 Remote is as visually striking as it is technologically advanced.

At the heart of the V10 Remote is Stewart Golf’s Cortex microchip, the most powerful processor ever fitted to a remote-controlled trolley. The Cortex microchip is the brains of the company’s patent-pending ATC, which automatically adjusts to changes in terrain—uphill, downhill, or uneven surfaces—while maintaining a consistent speed and steady control.

With the V10 Remote, golfers can focus solely on their game without worrying about their equipment.

Other features include a 100-yard remote range, three customizable cruise-control speeds, up to 36-hole battery capacity, and built-in scorecard, ball, and tee holders.

“By reimagining the iconic design and enhancing it with cutting-edge features, the V10 Remote brings together the best of Stewart Golf’s heritage and modern innovation,” said David Funnell, Managing Director. “The V10 Remote provides an excellent opportunity for more golfers to experience the Stewart brand, at an incredibly competitive price point.”

The V10 Remote is available with either an 18-hole or 36-hole battery.
