New Toulon Putters Launched For 2017

Today is the official launch date for the new 2017 line of Toulon Putters. This lineup consists of 5 new Toulon models: Indianapolis, Latrobe, Columbus, Austin, and Long Island.  These putters feature premium materials, extraordinary craftsmanship, elegant visual appeal and cutting-edge technology. The head, face, sole, hosel, weight, shaft and grip work in harmony to form a finely functioning whole that delivers the best possible combination of feel, sound, and roll.

This new 2017 lineup has helped make Toulon one of the top milled putters on Tour already. The Indianapolis is a popular choice, with players like Patrick Rodgers having success with the unique head shape and high MOI design. Thomas Pieters, Michelle Wie, Kelly Kraft, and Scott Brown are among the players who are gaming a Toulon.

Materials, Technology and Benefits

Milled from 303 Stainless Steel for Soft Feel – Every head is milled from a solid block of soft 303 stainless steel. Every curve, radius and line is painstakingly rendered. The face alone takes 40 minutes to mill.

Deep Diamond Mill Face Pattern for Great Sound, Feel and Roll -The “contact patch” at the center of the face incorporates crosshatch grooves that form a pattern on the face that strategically channels vibration to promote a uniquely satisfying sound and feel.

Interchangeable Sole Plates to Increase/Reduce Head Weight -Easily increase or reduce head weight by installing the aluminum sole plate (total head weight 350g), stainless steel sole plate (363g), or tungsten sole plate (383g).

Choice of Two Counterbalance Weights – SuperStroke offers the option of installing a 25g or 50g counterbalance plug into the butt-end of the grip. Configuring the sole plate/counterbalance in different weight combinations create a variety of ways to customize the putter’s feel and fit it to your style of release, whether moderate or aggressive.

Pricing: $399.99 on each new model

Cobra Golf’s New F7 Junior Driver Is Equipped With Cobra Connect Technology

The King F7 Junior driver is engineered to deliver the same blend of maximum distance and increased forgiveness as F7 – plus a free shaft upgrade!

CARLSBAD, Calif. (March 22, 2017) – Young golfers looking to play like the pros, and hit it longer and straighter, now have another game-changing driver, courtesy of COBRA Golf, to help improve their game. In addition COBRA’s adjustable weight system and MyFly8 technology, the new KING F7 Junior Driver now comes equipped with the new COBRA CONNECT Powered by Arccos technology – allowing the next generation of golfers to track their distance like never before.

The KING F7 Junior Driver (MAP $249), a junior version of the KING F7 driver, features the same technology as the adult version with three discrete CG positions in the front, back and heel for three very different ball flights. The heavier 8g weight in the front CG position creates a lower, penetrating ball flight with less spin and more roll for maximum distance. When the heavier weight is placed in the back position, it delivers a higher, towering ball flight with added spin for more carry distance and increased forgiveness. When moved to the heel CG position, it works to reduce spin to deliver straighter drives that correct a slice.

The Junior Driver also features the COBRA CONNECT Powered by Arccos system which features an ultralight sensor that’s embedded in the grip, allowing golfers to automatically track the distance and accuracy of every drive. COBRA CONNECT users simply pair their club with the free Arccos Driver smartphone app to receive their performance data, access rangefinder GPS distances for 40,000 courses and compete in the King of the Hole virtual long drive competition. Players will also be able to access exclusive COBRA content within the Arccos Driver app, including product tech videos and golf tips from COBRA coaches and PGA TOUR Pros.

A new, re-engineered Forged 8-11 Titanium E9 Face is a variable thickness structure that is lighter, thinner and hotter, for faster ball speeds and a larger SweetZone across the face. A multi-material TeXtreme Crown Fiber yields a 20% lighter crown allowing for more weight to be redistributed lower and deeper into the club head for extreme distance and forgiveness.

Since kids grow very quickly, COBRA Golf is continuing to use the free shaft upgrade option in the KING F7 Junior Driver. Golfers can register their purchased driver on the cobragolf.com and receive one free upgrade to a longer, firmer shaft when needed.

The MyFly8 technology allows junior golfers to easily adjust their loft as their game and swing develop, helping them maximize distance, manage trajectory for different weather and course conditions and dial in the club to match their game. The Junior Driver can be adjusted to the following loft settings: 11° – 14° and three draw settings: 11.5°, 12.5°, 13.5°.

The KING F7 Junior Driver then takes adjustability a step further with SmartPad, COBRA’s proprietary technology, which delivers a square face at address regardless of loft setting. This helps the junior golfer to align the ball directly down the fairway.

The Junior Driver is sold with a 39″, 41″ or 43″ Fujikura Fuel shaft. Below is a recommended fitting chart.

Typical Age 7-9 10-12 13-15
Typical Height 45″-55″ 50″-60″ 55″-70″
Recommended Loft 13.5° 12.5° 11.5°
Recommended Length 39″ 41″ 43″

The KING F7 Junior Driver comes in black with orange accents and is available now at golf retailers or at cobragolf.com. For more information on the entire KING family of products, visit cobragolf.com
