50 Words or Less
The Ecco W Golf Biom G5 offers top-level technology and performance features without sacrificing breezy comfort and style. Elevate your game on and off the course.
Introduction
Golf apparel, especially when it comes to shoes, is about fit and function above all. Ecco’s design combines impeccable fit with classic style. Whether you are walking 18 or letting a cart do the dirty work, Ecco Biom G5 shoes are up to the challenge of keeping you both comfortable and sharp.
Looks
If you fell victim to #BamaRush TikTok, you may have picked up on the many fit checks featuring all white shoes. If you avoided this train wreck, you can take my word for it – white shoes have definitively usurped the neon trend of the early 2010s, and I applaud you for not keeping up with BamaRush.
Regardless, the aesthetic of Ecco’s Biom G5 shoe walks the line between on-trend and timeless. A new pair of all-white kicks on the course goes with anything and lightens up even the most unexpected looking swing. The fine line flora and fauna details add just enough to set you apart whether you’re rushing a sorority or rushing to get to the 19th hole.
Comfort
Trying on new shoes can be a frustrating experience, often leaving us asking, “Is this shoe uncomfortable, or does it just need breaking in?” The moment I put the Biom G5s on and turned the dial, my jaw dropped. My standards for trying on new shoes have permanently shifted upward. Granted, these are my first pair of laceless golf shoes, but this technology is a game changer. If the shoes feel slightly loose, you can reach down and turn the dial a click or two in a couple of seconds. This is more efficient and more precise than lace-up shoes.
Once on, the shoes feel secure both side to side and in the heel without sacrificing room in the toe. Ecco Biom G5s are not only true to size, but they fit like a dream from the very first wear.
Performance
Pick up a pair of Ecco Biom G5s and you’ll notice how well-built they are. Having recently played a round of golf without golf shoes in the rain (1 out of 5 stars, do not recommend), I value this sturdiness and waterproofing now more than ever. The Biom G5 has GORE-TEX, which provides 100% waterproof protection without sacrificing breathability.
The Biom G5 also provides reliable support using the Ortholite® inlay sole. Ultimately, a good shoe provides the kind of comfort that is noticeable when you put them on and then quickly feels like part of your foot and your natural stride. The technology that goes into the Ecco Biom G5 works together seamlessly to provide that elusive anatomical feeling.
Aside from comfort and water proofing, the Ecco Biom G5 also lives up to the challenge of supporting a golf swing. Thanks to the combination of FLUIDFORM™ Direct Injection Technology and the E-DTS® traction system, the Ecco Biom G5 keeps you rooted to the ground while also adapting to your movements. After begging for golf tips from my husband, who generally avoids such risky business, he gave in during a recent round in Hilton Head. With a slight adjustment, the shoes helped me to brace my right foot and avoid shifting my weight too far behind the ball. Thanks to the Biom G5s, the positive impact of his advice was amplified and I finally hit my 5-hybrid a more satisfying distance.
Conclusion
If you are looking for a top-of-the-line golf shoe with the latest technology, start with the Ecco W Golf Biom G5. The fit and comfort are stand-out, and you will be fully prepared to battle the physical and mental elements on the golf course.

Great review! Lauren, did you actually get these signed by Lydia Ko??!
I wish! It’s a printing detail, not the real deal.
Hmm, interesting….
I know my vision is getting less …. but I don’t remember seeing a price.
So I will take a wild guess … I’m thinking “in and around that $250/260ish” target price ….. that means if I take my time, come late spring I’ll be able to pick a pair up for under $150ish.
But you have to like them first — and I don’t..
