Odyssey Golf Announces New S2S Tri-Hot Putters
CARLSBAD, CA – Today Odyssey Golf, an industry leader in putter innovation and the #1 PuBer on Tour, announced the all-new S2S Tri-Hot lineup that will be available at retailers staring November 7th. S2S Tri-Hot is a revolution in the popular Zero Torque category with a premium blend of tungsten, steel, and ultra-light aluminum, coupled with Odyssey’s new Ai-Dual Insert.
These putters move the Center of Gravity (CG) forward, so that the hosel position can be placed
forward and much closer to the face than typical Zero Torque models. This innovative design
promotes a more natural, intuitive and comfortable set up that eliminates the need for forward
press. By strategically using Aluminum, Steel and over 140 grams of tungsten, more than 80%
of the putter’s weight is placed under the topline.
In addition to moving the CG and hosel forward to promote a squarer stroke, S2S Tri-Hot
features an all-new Ai Dual Insert. Designed using Artificial Intelligence, this dual-layer urethane
insert has a so[ outer layer and a firm inner layer, delivering consistent ball speed across the
face, enhanced forward roll, and amazing feel. A new Forward Roll Groove Design also works in
conjunction with the dual layer design to improve forward roll up and down the face. Odyssey
continues to stand alone as the industry leader in insert designs.
Completing this premium construction, S2S Tri-Hot incorporates a new mid-sized pistol grip.
Created after surveying the most popular grips used on Tour, this offering is developed to fit
comfortably in your hands and provide a better awareness of where the putter face is
throughout the stroke. The black PVD shaft, developed based on Tour player feedback, is
heavier and stiffer than Odyssey’s SL 90 and ideally suited for this style of putter.
