WILSON LAUNCHES NEW STAFF MODEL UTILITY IRONS
Designed for PGA Tour professionals, the Staff Model Utility Irons deliver a desired combination of control and distance.
CHICAGO, Nov. 5 , 2019 – Today, Wilson Sporting Goods officially unveiled the new Wilson Staff Model Utility Irons. Initially created as a prototype iron for Wilson Advisory Staff members, the Staff Model Utility Irons provide impressive distance and forgiveness. These reliable clubs are designed to deliver the best possible performance for long irons.
The Staff Model Utility Irons featured a hollow body, providing longer distance, increased forgiveness and improved launch angle. The utility irons are constructed with a high-strength C300 maraging steel face that delivers faster ball speeds across the club face.
“The Staff Model Utility Irons will give golfers confidence on every shot and in every condition,” said Jon Pergande, Manager of Golf Club Innovation. “Originally created for our professional staff members, we are excited to bring the utility irons to golfers and believe the strong mix of distance and forgiveness will enable players to attack the course with more confidence.”
The Staff Model Utility Irons offer seven grams of weight positioned low inside the club head, increasing the forgiveness and ensuring a higher ball flight.
These Utility Irons come stock with KBS Tour Hybrid graphite shaft and are paired with Golf Pride’s Tour Velvet grip. They are offered in 18-degree, 21-degree and 24-degree loft options, and will be available for purchase on Wilson.com and in fine retailers for $229.99 per iron beginning Wednesday, Dec. 11th.

Lynx Golf Unveils New Clubs in Premium Prowler Series
VT Stinger and Prowler Forged Irons Now Available in the U.S.
(Weybridge, Surrey, UK) – Lynx® Golf unveils two additions to its premium Prowler Collection, the VT Stinger driving irons and Prowler Forged irons, both of which are now available in the United States at www.lynxgolfusa.com.
Designed for mid-to-low handicap players, Lynx’s Prowler line represents the pinnacle of engineering and manufacturing excellence. The VT Stinger is available in 12.5 and 16-degree options, each featuring variable face thickness technology that redistributes weight toward the periphery of the club face to increase MOI. This reduces the amount of sidespin imparted on off-center hits by up to 36%, improving accuracy and distance on mishits. The classic muscle back design is adorned with a satin chrome finish, which can be paired with either a KBS® Tour steel shaft ($129) or UST® Mamiya Recoil graphite shaft ($149).
Forged using premium 1020 carbon steel, the new Prowler Forged irons feature a high polished finish and progressive offset design. The CNC milled head includes five fixed tungsten screws, which Lynx engineers used to precisely position mass, resulting in a lower center of gravity and increased MOI. With blade lengths 20% larger than the company’s previous forged offerings, the Prowler Forged irons provide heightened playability, performance and forgiveness. Sets include 5-PW and are available with either KBS Tour 90 ($999) or UST® Mamiya Recoil ($1,169) shafts. Both 3-iron and 4-iron are available to purchase separately.
“Our Prowler lines have been embraced by players around the world because they perform incredibly well and have a beautiful aesthetic that speaks to avid golfers,” says Steve Elford, CEO and co-owner of Lynx Golf. “These additions to the collection fill two spaces our customers have been asking for, a driving iron with outstanding performance and without the standard bulky look of modern hybrids, and a cavity-back forged iron that looks and feels as good as our blades, but offers added forgiveness.”

Introducing the new Stability Tour, a putter shaft with a tour-preferred feel and sleeker look
Stability Tour shaft is the result of feedback from the best golfers and coaches in the world and offers the same state-of-the-art performance as the Original Stability Shaft.
Barney Adams, Breakthrough Golf CEO, states “Introducing a tour model is just a natural progression of the brand. Stability clearly has filled a void in the putter category and now golfers who want to play exactly what the pros play will have that option with Stability Tour”.
Stability Tour Features:
- Streamline, slim look which tapers to a 13% reduction in the shaft diameter. Stability Tour also offers a complete blackout appearance to reduce line of sight distraction.
- Balance. Stability Tour will balance like a steel shaft which makes it easy to recreate a specific swing weight when re-shafting. Better golfers can replace their steel shaft without appreciably changing the balance of the putter. This allows the most discerning players to achieve precise specifications on their equipment.
- Feel. Offers a softer feel. It will match the balance point and flex profile of steel with 30% more carbon fiber for crisp, responsive sound and control preferred by discerning golfers and tour professionals.
The Stability Tour shaft is designed with BGT’s patented Advanced Materials Technology, a scientifically proven platform which delivers the face square at impact. This results in a lower launch for predictable roll and better distance control. Blair Philip, VP R&D says “Testing confirms that both the Original Stability and Stability Tour deliver the groundbreaking performance that BGT has pioneered in our tour-proven putter shaft designs”.
Stability Tour will sell for $249.99 and is available for immediate ship.

Great article I can read this type of article all day long.
#secretgolfgiveaway4….you guys don’t know how many times I read the reviews on this sight. Old irons, new irons, old woods, new woods, putters etc…it doesn’t matter. With the cost of clubs going up to the sky, being able to read about older equipment is invaluable. Thanks.
