Mizuno Golf Push The Limits Of Distance And Control With Next Generation “Shock Wave Technology” In 2016 JPX-Ez Fairway Woods And Hybrids

Norcross, Ga. (November 12, 2015) – Mizuno, a global leader in golf technology and innovation, has launched another design and performance innovation within its 2016 product line. The company’s 2016 JPX-EZ Fairway Woods and Hybrids will feature the next generation of its proprietary Shock Wave Technology®, establishing the line as its most forgiving and longest carrying fairway woods and hybrids to date.

Originally introduced in the 2015 JPX-850 line, Mizuno’s Shock Wave Technology provides superior club head flex on impact that generates increased ball speed and overall distance from the 2016 JPX-EZ Fairway Woods and Hybrids. Through innovative engineering, the team also expanded weight distribution to the toe and heel of the club head, creating a larger “sweet spot” and unparalleled forgiveness.

The underlying theme around the new JPX-EZ Fairway and Hybrid clubs is “ease of launch.” Launch angle has been a significant focus across the golf industry for its role in delivering ideal ball flights. Launch angle is also critical to creating ideal interaction between the clubface and turf from even difficult lies. This emphasis on ease of launch with the 2016 JPX-EZ wood line allows for more consistent ball striking and added confidence over the ball for golfers at every level.

“We truly believe we’ve captured the ultimate mix of performance benefits for fairway woods and hybrids with the new JPX-EZ line,” said Chuck Couch, Vice President of Product Development – Golf, Mizuno USA. “Our goal with this line was to deliver a club that addressed every concern – not only launch angle, distance and control, but also efficient and consistent ball striking. We are also very excited to see Luke Donald utilizing the Shock Wave Technology in his fairway and hybrid clubs.”

Sunice Launches Its 2016 Golf Line

Montreal, Quebec — The Spring 2016 golf line for Sunice® is divided into five categories: Rain, Wind, Thermal, Layers and Sportswear. “It is always our goal at Sunice to make garments that function flawlessly on the golf course and deliver on style; 2016 is no different. “We are very proud of our 2016 lineup,” said Conrad Tappert, President of Sunice. “It covers all possible golf weather conditions, from cold and wet to dry and hot.”

The Sunice Rain category will once again be available in three different technologies and in three price ranges: GORE-TEX®, FlexVent™ and Zephal™. All styles have been updated with new color combinations. “GORE-TEX® is our top of the line fabric and offers incredible performance even in the most difficult golf conditions,” adds Tappert.

The Wind Collection will continue to be available in two different proprietary technologies: Shield 3L and X2O™. Shield 3L construction offers a soft knit on the outside, and a water-repellent laminate and mesh finish inside. It is then coated with WxTech for additional protection. The result is a garment that breathes freely, with plenty of stretch and total protection against the wind and light precipitation. The new lightweight and packable Wind Collection features the X2O™ fabric which is made from fine, densely woven denier yarn to achieve optimal wind protection and breathability. The X2O™ windwear products are also coated with WxTech for water repellency. A great example of this X2O™ technology is the popular Collins Wind Jacket, which is available in 5 different color combinations.

“In the Thermal Collection, our Franz jacket and Ingo vest have been updated and now features 3M™ Thinsulate™. This new synthetic insulation stays warm even when it’s wet so it was easy decision,” said Anita Sanches, Director of product creation.

Many new colors have also been added to the Layers category. As an example, our best selling Allendale Pullover has four new colors: Scarlet Flame, Toxic, Charcoal and Aquarius. The Allendale Pullover continues to be popular because it looks great and delivers on ultimate comfort. This is because it is made with a high quality double knit fabric and four needle flat lock stitching.

The 2016 men’s Sportswear category once again features styles with Silver X-Static® and XT2® technology. Silver is at the core of X-Static® and XT2® technology and is recognized as one of the most effective anti-microbial agents in the world.

In addition, Sunice has introduced additional styles of Sportswear which feature the Coollite performance fabric. New styles include the Eastwood and Wyman polos. “We are very proud of our new Coollite™ polos,” says Ms. Sanches. “Thanks to their appealing look and comfortable feel, they are proving to be a big success ”
