STAMFORD, Conn., – MAY 10, 2017 – Arccos Golf today launched golf’s first artificial intelligence platform, Arccos Caddie. Powered by the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, Arccos Caddie harnesses advanced analytics to help golfers of all skill levels shoot lower scores by making smarter, data-driven decisions on the course.
Arccos Caddie leverages the golf industry’s richest data set – over 61 million shots hit by the Arccos community, as well as precise elevation data and 386 million geotagged data points on more than 40,000 courses. It also accounts for weather conditions, including forecasted wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, temperature and more. The platform can be used by anyone, on nearly any hole in the world, regardless of whether a golfer has previously played the course.

True Temper Celebrates 20th PGA TOUR Season Win with Wells Fargo Championship Victory
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (May 8, 2017) – The Wells Fargo Championship winner trusted Dynamic Gold in his irons and wedges to win with a clutch birdie on Sunday. The event marks the 20th victory for shafts by True Temper during the 2016-2017 PGA TOUR season.

Portland, OR – May 8, 2017 – Brian Harman drained a 28-foot putt on the 18th hole to claim his first win of the season at the 2017 Wells Fargo Championship in Wilmington, North Carolina on Sunday afternoon.
Commenting on his win, Harman noted, “The windy conditions, especially on Friday, were challenging, but I was able to keep my focus throughout the tournament. My second career win is incredibly satisfying and I’m really excited for the rest of the season.”
