Skin Sunscreen™ Announces Supporting Partnership With The Folds Of Honor

Goodyear, AZ, May 1, 2017… SKIN Sunscreen™, providers of a premium sunscreen product specifically designed for the golf athlete and their families, has announced it has joined the Folds of Honor mission as a supporting partner.

As a supporting partner, SKIN Sunscreen is customizing products with the Folds of Honor logo. These products will be included in the Folds of Honor catalog which is sent to facilities that host fundraising events for the mission. SKIN Sunscreen will donate 13% of sales from these custom logoed products to the Folds of Honor mission in support of their mission to provide educational scholarships to the children and spouses of our fallen and disabled service members while serving our nation.

The company chose to donate 13% because when a folded flag is presented to the family of a fallen service member, it takes 13 individual folding movements to create the blue field/white star triangle encasing the American flag.

“The Folds of Honor is an amazing organization,” said Jessica Folino, General Manager/Partner, SKIN Sunscreen. “We are proud to join them as a supporting partner, helping them with a noble cause and supporting families for generations to come. In addition, we are able to provide participants in their events access to quality sun protection, while increasing their awareness of skin cancer and UV damage.”

SKIN Sunscreen has been carefully developed as a premium preventative lotion formulation that is oxybenzone-free, non-greasy, sweat resistant and water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Uniting the company’s resources in a quest to spare others the pain and loss associated with the insidious health threat of skin cancer, SKIN Sunscreen is proudly promoted as the optimal wellness preventative in a healthy daily hygiene routine.

As SKIN Sunscreen demonstrated the need for awareness for sunscreen to young golfers and their families, it became apparent that this proactive measure – applying sunscreen – is every bit as important to the outdoor athlete as is the warm-up on the range or stretching before a round of golf. In fact, sunscreen is essential to lifelong enjoyment of any outdoor sport – but especially important for the golfer, given the number of hours played under the sun.

“Our mission has been to educate avid golfers about the benefits of proper skin protection both on and off the golf course,” added Folino. “Becoming a supporting partner with the Folds of Honor allows us to reach an even wider audience of golfers with our message while helping their cause. With Skin Cancer Awareness Month in May, we encourage golfers to Protect Yours™ with SKIN Sunscreen and get regular skin check-ups.”
