WILSON STAFF D300 IRONS

THE NEXT GENERATION OF FLEX

Wilson Staff introduces the latest generation in its acclaimed Distance series, the D300 irons.  At the core of the innovation is FLX FACE™ Technology that minimizes contact points between the thin face and clubhead to generate greater clubhead speed and distance. Power Holes, literal through holes surrounding the entire face, provide room for the face to flex and for weight to be moved to the heel and toe to maximize MOI and forgiveness. These visible Power Holes are filled with TE031 Urethane for improved feel, with a crisp and recognizable sound of distance and accuracy.

“In addition to the FLX FACE™ technology that was introduced in last year’s groundbreaking C200 irons, the D300 irons build and improve upon distance,
forgiveness and feel. C200 Irons,” said Michael Vrska, Global Innovation Director of Wilson Golf “FLX FACE™ and Power Holes have been refined specifically for the ‘D’ or ‘Super Game Improvement’ player to provide significant distance and accuracy
improvements.”

Brand new KBS Tour 80 steel and Matrix Speed Rulz A-Type 54 graphite shafts are available in the D300 irons (4-9, PW, GW both RH and LH), along with Wilson Staff Tour Traction grips.

WILSON STAFF D300 WOODS

NEW MICRO VORTEX GENERATORS CREATE FASTER CLUBHEAD SPEED FOR GREATER DISTANCE

Following the release of the award-winning D200 family, the next generation of Wilson Staff distance clubs features an all new driver, fairway woods and hybrid using Right Light Technology, aimed at players looking for maximum distance and forgiveness.

“Innovation is at the core of all we do and elevating distance is something we take seriously.” said Michael Vrska, Global Innovation Director of Wilson Golf.  “Micro Vortex Generators and Right Light are technologies that players can see and feel, but most importantly, the speed and distance benefits will be obvious from the first swing.”  Incorporating proprietary SuperLight technology, the D300 driver is one of the lightest and fastest adjustable drivers on the market.  A new aerodynamically designed head shape, coupled with visible Micro Vortex Generators, reduce drag to increase club head speed and deliver enhanced distance.

The Green Means Go! Fast Fit technology allows players to make quick adjustments by eliminating the need to remove the club head from the shaft, while Right Light Technology, with an interchangeable weight, permits golfers to improve swing speed.

The D300 fairway woods also feature the new aerodynamic designed head with Micro Vortex Generators, along with a Carpenter Custom 455 maraging stainless steel face insert, creating a thin, flexible and responsive face for increased ball speed and longer distances.

The D300 hybrid features a progressive head design offering increased volume on stronger lofts for more forgiveness.  Also featuring  Micro Vortex Generators to create faster movement through the air and the same Carpenter Custom 455 maraging stainless steel face insert found on the fairway woods.

FG TOUR V6 IRONS

THE ULTIMATE IN FEEL, FEEDBACK, AND FORGIVENESS

Wilson Golf unveils the newest addition to the award winning FG Tour line, the Wilson Staff FG Tour™ V6 Irons.  Engineered to enhance the Feel player’s game, the V6
Irons are an evolution of the highly acclaimed V4 Irons, our most played iron on the PGA Tour by two-time champion Kevin Streelman, Tour winner Troy Merritt and three-time major winner Padraig Harrington.  “There is no feeling that compares to hitting a ball pure off the face of a forged FG Tour Iron,”  said Streelman. “The V6s are the best looking irons I’ve ever played and the tungsten sole technology helps make every shot count.”

The newly added 20-gram tungsten insert is built to increase launch angle without increasing spin rate, which adds forgiveness in the long irons.  This makes for a well-balanced and consistent iron with accuracy, impact stability, and generous distance. The insert on the split heel and toe on the 3, 4, 5 irons and centered on the 6, 7 irons.

Mass concentrated in the impact area delivers a solid, muscle back-like feel and helps players shape their shots. It is also complemented by a back cavity design that provides feedback and some forgiveness on off-center hits.  “It’s not easy to incorporate real innovation and technology in a forged, but the FG Tour V6 Irons do just that.  From the tungsten inserts, to what was done to enhance feel and feedback in the impact area, to the sole design and thinner topline, every aspect was refined for better amateurs and tour players,” said Michael Vrska, Global Director of Golf Innovation.

Forged from 8620 carbon steel, the V6 Irons are clad in a nickel-chrome plating, a high-end mirror finish and completed with True Temper Dynamic Gold AMT shafts.
