Golf Pride® Redefines The Grip Shape With Revolutionary Align Technology To Provide Golfers Consistent Results

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. … Eaton announced today that its Golf Pride Grips Division, an industry leader in innovation, is introducing a groundbreaking new grip technology that delivers a new level of consistency in golfers’ games unlike anything before. For the first time ever, the new ALIGN Technology features a dedicated raised ridge that extends down the back of the grip for consistent hand placement allowing the golfer to feel alignment. The patented ALIGN Technology is featured in the MCC family in both the traditional MCC taper profile and MCC Plus4’s larger lower hand profile. The #1 Hybrid Grip on Tour combining cord and rubber for all-weather performance now has a tactile innovation that locks the hands into a consistent grip every time.

MCC ALIGN and MCC Plus4 ALIGN activates upon installation with a dedicated raised ridge on the back of the grip allowing for consistent hand placement and an enhanced ability to square the clubface at impact each and every time. ALIGN Technology also features a unique micro-diamond texture and 50% firmer material compared to the surrounding grip area to amplify its pronounced feel. The flex channel separates the ALIGN Technology ridge from the grip body to maximize elevation lift and lock the grip into fingers, while conforming to the rules of golf.

“80% of Tour players trust their games to Golf Pride, which allows us to conduct extensive Professional and consumer testing to create an innovation that delivers consistent results,” said Jonathan Neal, Global Marketing Manager for Golf Pride Grips. “A repeatable grip is critical for many of the world’s best players in the world, as 1 out of every 3 PGA TOUR players currently use a grip with a reminder rib. However, they uniformly provided us feedback that they want it to be more pronounced. That insight led us to develop ALIGN Technology to assist the best players in the world and amateurs alike to feel alignment and to square the clubface.”

The MCC ALIGN and MCC Plus4 ALIGN grips will hit retail in Spring with a street price of $10.99 per standard size and $11.49 for midsize grip. For more information on the ALIGN Technology and the entire 2017 Golf Pride product offering, visit

Ping Introduces Sigma G Putters

PHOENIX (Jan. 25, 2017) – A multi-piece face technology inspired by the soles of athletic shoes and advancements to PING’s patented True Roll Face Technology have led to significant improvements in feel and overall putting performance in the distinctive new PING Sigma G putter models, which the company introduced today.

“The Sigma G putters represent an exciting new technology that continues our long-standing commitment to engineering putters that feel and look great but perform even better,” said John A. Solheim, PING Chairman & CEO. “The combination of the high-grade elastomer and fully machined aerospace-grade aluminum over the entire face delivers an amazing feel and sound. And with improved ball-speed consistency and forgiveness, golfers will make more putts than ever. We’re also introducing several new designs that offer a variety of looks to fit every golfer’s stroke and eye.”

The Sigma G putters are available for pre-order today at authorized PING golf shops around the world.

The Pebax elastomer, a material commonly used in the soles of athletic shoes for its elasticity properties, is a lightweight, high-energy return compound that delivers a uniquely soft yet responsive feel. The new True Roll Face Technology covers the entire face to provide confidence and full-face forgiveness. Precision milled from 6061 aerospace-grade aluminum, the new pattern varies in depth and pitch to improve performance and touch on putts of every length.

In player testing, data showed an overwhelming preference for the feel and performance of the Sigma G models and the innovative face technology.

Impact stability in every Sigma G model is increased as a result of the larger face insert cavities that allow weight savings to be re-distributed farther toward the perimeter to increase the MOI. Optimally placed CG positions help reduce skid and initiate forward roll. The 16 options are finished in either Platinum or Black Nickel and feature a contrasting face tone to assist in setup and alignment consistency.

A variety of blades, mid-mallets and mallets are available to fit any stroke type and preferred look and alignment style. Proven performers like the Anser, B60, Kushin, Darby, Shea H, D66, Tess and Piper 3 have been modernized and are joined by several new high-performance designs, including three versions of the Kinloch design, the Ketsch B and three extremely high-MOI, alignment models: Tyne, Wolverine T and the counter-balanced Doon.

Two options of the proprietary PING Pistol tapered grip are offered to fit a golfer’s preferred grip style. The PP60 (midsize, polygon shape) and PP62 (oversize, more rounded shape) are engineered to fit the contours of the golfer’s hands. The CB60 grip is standard on counter-balanced models.

U.S. MSRP: Blade-style: $195; Mallet-style: $215; Counter-balanced: $235

Levelwear’s Golf Line Introduces More New Styles Than Ever – Showing That Function And Fashion Can Be Harmonious

In its Fall 2017 Collection, Levelwear is offering both new product innovations and apparel collections that combine performance and functionality mixed in with its traditionally clean and comfortable look and feel. As Levelwear remains committed to offering its classic collection of polos, they have transitioned focus this season to offer new “modern themed” polos that incorporate shorter collar lengths with a slightly more form fitting shape. Levelwear is also proud to introduce new, top of the line fabrications into its premium line of polos that will allow for fuller mobility and comfort. Levelwear has seamlessly continued the modern theme vision into its mid layer and performance vests, offering pieces that satisfy from both a performance and style perspective.

Traditionally, Levelwear’s men’s polos have followed more of a traditional fit that focuses primarily on function and comfortability. For its Fall Collection, Levelwear introduces a new Modern Fit to accompany its existing classic line – this is not a drastic departure from the current silhouette but simply a cleaning up of the shoulder, sleeve length and mid torso, while bringing in the overall collar length. The Modern Fit has been applied to four of the new polo’s in the Fall Collection. In addition to the new Modern Fit, Levelwear is excited to be incorporating new fabrics into its line, including more poly-spandex fabrications in its premium polos, notably “The Dynamic” polo which features an engineered shoulder and back panel, as well as a new super soft blended Cotton – Polyester polo “the Reign.”

Levelwear is also introducing a handful of new mid layer and performance vests that offer both functionality and stylish finishes. “The Progress” is one of the feature pieces, a performance vest that offers players that needed extra layer when temperatures call for it while still allowing for full swing mobility and comfort to last 18 holes (or more).

Gone are the days of balanced schedules, and here are the days of integration – where one part of your life seamlessly blends and flows into one another, whether home, work, or life. And your fashion should transition with you. Levelwear has combined inspiration from streetwear and athletic wear to provide its first ever line of women’s transition wear, called Verve, which will debut at the PGA Show this week in Orlando. The name, Verve, by definition means “spirit and enthusiasm” is designed for today’s active women who desire premium fabrics, athletic styling, and function for every part of the day. The line focuses on transition silhouettes that can be worn during various sport activities while also be deemed appropriate for anything else that needs to get done during the day. The premier collection will include a line of tees, transition pants, leggings, vests, premium and performance fleece’s.

Who better to exemplify the Verve collection than Sandra Gal, one of the most lively and energetic LPGA players. Levelwear spent a day with Sandra as the Verve collection was first introduced and captured Sandra completing her typical daily routine. “I live a busy lifestyle, from the moment I wake up, I am moving nonstop, going from the driving range to the store to fitting in an occasional yoga class or lunch with friends. Wearing Verve throughout my busy day was the easiest thing because I could transition from one routine to the next without feeling subconscious or underdressed. When Levelwear says that it’s everyday transition wear, they really mean it.”

As Levelwear has established strengths in product development and technically superior apparel collections, it is also known for its innovative decorated co-branded logo treatments. Going above and beyond the status quo, Levelwear has added to its arsenal an elevated club treatment collection, called the “Insignia Program.” Working alongside its club partners, Levelwear has designed a premium treatment to showcase logos in a newly innovative fashion. The exclusive logo treatment allows for a rich glossy metallic like finish that will appear on its club partners garments.

In addition to new logo treatments, Levelwear is taking advantage of arising global trends that include designing cleaner, simpler collections with unique finishing touches. Levelwear is excited to introduce this season an array of new treatment applications that include innovative neck and hood treatments, collar hits, and carefully heat welded logo placements. Levelwear is continuing to push boundaries and is poised to continue that success in this upcoming season.
