Odyssey Introduces New O-Works Red & Black Putters
CARLSBAD, CA – Odyssey, the #1 Putter in Golf, today announced a broad range of new additions to its product lineup designed to appeal to a wide variety of golfers. Nationwide availability begins February 23, 2018.
The O-Works Red & Black putter line has been expanded with eight new Red models and nine new Black models, creating a balanced lineup of beautifully shaped blades, mallets and mid-mallets, all equipped with Odyssey’s innovative Microhinge face insert technology to promote immediate topspin for smooth, accurate roll.
Though mallets are typically face-balanced, all “S” model O-Works mallets incorporate a short slant-neck hosel to create “toe-hang.” Toe-hang mallets are a hot Tour trend as more players seek the advantages of using a mallet. “Many players can’t reap the benefits of a mallet because their stroke isn’t suited to a face-balanced putter,” said Austie Rollinson, Chief Designer, Odyssey Golf. “Our new O-Works toe-hang mallets allows those players the chance to take advantage of the forgiveness and alignment benefits of a mallet.”
Microhinge Insert Technology
Developed by Odyssey engineers, the Microhinge insert consists of a stainless steel face populated with dozens of microhinges, backed by a thermoplastic elastomer insert. The two pieces are co-molded to ensure a perfect fit. Together they promote topspin at impact, as well as satisfying sound and feel.
Odyssey EXO 2-Ball Putter
Our new Odyssey EXO 2-Ball is a premium putter unlike any we’ve ever offered. It combines one of the game’s most innovative and iconic putter designs with top-notch materials and meticulous production to create something truly special. Extensive milling process renders with great precision every edge, curve and surface of the aluminum top and stainless steel sole, along with rich finishes, rose gold and black color schemes, and stylish face medallion.
Classic 2-Ball Alignment System and High MOI
The classic performance features that make every 2-Ball putter easy to aim and remarkably stable on off-center hits.
Toulon Design
Toulon Design, which has fast become a popular milled putter brand on Tour, has unveiled two new mid-mallet designs, Atlanta and Portland, both in a beautiful and durable gunmetal finish. Memphis, part of the original line, is now available in the same finish, and in a toe-hang option. Remaining models in the line include Austin, Madison, San Diego, Columbus, Long Island, San Francisco and Indianapolis. Toulon Design putters are 100% milled from soft, 303 stainless steel and feature Toulon Design’s proprietary Deep
Diamond Mill Face Pattern
Deep Diamond Mill Face Pattern promotes topspin and a uniquely satisfying feel that helps set them apart from other milled putters.
Interchangeable Sole Plates
Head weight in Toulon Design putters can be easily changed by changing the sole plate. Three are available – aluminum (7 grams), stainless steel (20 grams) and tungsten (40 grams).

Win Continues 23-Year Old Rahm’s Rapid Rise up the Official World Golf Ranking to #2, Giving TaylorMade #1 & #2
CARLSBAD, CA – TaylorMade’s Jon Rahm picked up right where he left off in 2017 with a playoff victory at the Career Builder Challenge in La Quinta. Relying on a full 14-club bag of TaylorMade equipment, the Spaniard – who has now risen to #2 in the Official World Golf Ranking – carded 27 birdies set up by superb driving with his new M4 driver and brilliant ball striking in windy conditions.
Rahm’s victory is his second PGA Tour win and his fourth on global tours in the last 12 months. Rahm added a new M4 driver (9.5°) set to standard after testing with TaylorMade’s Tour staff. For the week, Rahm averaged 310 yards off the tee and found 71.43% of fairways. In addition to his M4 driver, Rahm also added a new M3 fairway to the bag. Rahm added a P790 3-iron to the bag in place of his 5 wood, a change he made just this week for the tournament.
Rahm carded 27 birdies or better with his Spider Tour putter, which he’s had in the bag since this same tournament last year. Rahm’s past three starts include a win in Dubai, a runner-up finish in Kapalua and now a win at the Career Builder.
Rahm now moves up to No.2 in the Official World Golf Rankings, giving TaylorMade #1, #2, #6 & #11 in the world.

New Lynx Prowler Irons Debut at PGA Show
WEYBRIDGE, SURREY, UK – Lynx Golf, the global golf equipment company with headquarters in Surrey, Great Britain, will unveil its first ‘performance players range’ at the 2018 PGA Merchandise Show as part of the new Lynx Prowler® range of irons, wedges, putters and bags.
The Lynx Prowler® Forged CB promises the better golfer an outstanding combination of a penetrating trajectory, feel and forgiveness and combines a cavity back with beautiful design and forging from 1020 carbon steel. The new forged irons come in a satin chrome or gun metal finish, with Lamkin Crossline grips.
Sitting alongside the Prowler® Forged CB club, comes the Lynx Prowler® VT muscle-back iron – combining a hollow-headed design with variable face thickness to deliver a killer combination of incredible ball-speed, higher flight and playability. Both new tour-inspired irons have been developed in-house at Lynx’s Weybridge design HQ.
Said Lynx’s UK and European sales manager, Murray Tonry: “The challenge when creating the Prowler® Forged CB iron was to utilise all the benefits of modern materials, technology and manufacturing processes while retaining a soft feel and also delivering a level of forgiveness and ball workability that the lower-handicap and scratch player requires. As a result, it’s a more classically-styled cavity back iron, with a thinner top line and narrower sole that will definitely please good golfers at address without penalising distance or forgiveness. With the Prowler® VT, we wanted to offer an ultra-modern muscle back iron for golfers who love to hit the ball long, high and with superb levels of control. It’s packed full of technology hidden inside the head utilising variable thickness which creates ‘friendly’ spin on off centre hits, which in turn improves accuracy.”
