Introducing the Heritage Collection from COBRA PUMA GOLF

Golf is a game steeped in tradition, and those who love it are filled with a deep appreciation for the players, venues and tournaments of yesteryear. To celebrate the rich history of golf and its icons, COBRA PUMA GOLF has teamed up with Bryson DeChambeau for a tribute to the game and its classic era with “throwback” style and equipment with the launch of The Heritage Collection.

The retro collection, inspired in part by Bryson and his affinity for classic stylings including his signature Driver Cap, combines throwback style with cutting-edge performance to help golfers look good and perform at their best. The Limited Edition COBRA KING F7 driver with all the technological advantages of today, is cosmetically altered to give the appearance of a beautifully-crafted persimmon driver head.

Justin Rose Uses Flat Cat Putter Grip In Strong Masters Finish

SAN DIEGO, CA, April 11, 2017- Lamkin Corporation – the original manufacturer of premium golf grips – announces Justin Rose used a FLAT CAT by Lamkin svelte putter grip at the 2017 Masters. Rose delivered a solid final round, taking the solo lead at one point and closing with a 3-under 69 and a tie for the lead before losing in a sudden-death playoff. Rose’s second place finish moved him into 9th place in the FedExCup Standings, up 7 places from last week’s ranking.

FLAT CAT’s unique FLAT 1™ technology puts the feeling of square in the palm of a player’s hands, helping them to square their hands, square their shoulders and square their putter face to their intended target line. Each side of the FLAT CAT grip is in a parallel plane with the putter face, allowing every golfer to establish a personal feel with the face of their putter no matter what their putting style – traditional, left-hand low, saw, claw and more.

Rose sunk a 20-foot putt for a birdie on the first hole on Thursday and dropped a couple more long ones on his way to a first-round 69. “That always smartens up a scorecard when you’re making some putts of length,” Rose said in an LA Times interview.

“Justin played some amazing golf and was extremely gracious after his heartbreaking loss at the Masters. He is a class act and we are proud to have him on our brand ambassador team,” said Bob Lamkin, President and CEO of Lamkin Grips. “The FLAT CAT grip is designed to be used with any putting style and is well-suited to Rose’s new claw grip.”

Lamkin offers a variety of performance-inspired grips including the Z5, UTx, Crossline, Wrap-Tech and R.E.L. ACE. The company’s trusted products are played by PGA Tour superstars Justin Rose, Brandt Snedeker and many others. Lamkin products are unrivaled in quality thanks to world-class engineering, premium materials and handcrafted, repeatable production techniques

Antigua Announces Four New Ladies Sleeveless Styles For 2017

Peoria, AZ – The Antigua Group, Inc. – one of the nation’s leading designers and marketers of lifestyle and golf apparel under the distinguished Antigua brand has announced its Spring 2017 perfect fitting women’s sleeveless styles.

After more than 30 years designing golf apparel, Antigua’s designers realize that fit is the key to keeping customers returning again and again to their product. As the weather heats up and golf season starts around the Country, the sleeveless shirt is a staple in the closet of female golfers.

Key factors in developing the perfect fitting sleeveless style include establishing an appropriate across chest measurement and armhole depth. From the top of the shoulder down to the bottom of the armhole, the shape of the armhole must follow the natural shape of a women’s body, curving in just enough in the right places so as not to interfere with arm movement or even worse, curving in too much and therefore showing the sides of a bra.

Armhole depth must follow the “Goldilocks Rule”- a term senior designer Danielle Dellios uses when describing Antigua’s fit policy. “The armhole opening cannot be too deep, nor too shallow, it must be just right.” says Dellios. She uses a myriad of fit models to ensure women of all body types can feel comfortable when wearing Antigua.
