Nike to Transition Away From Golf Equipment

In an interesting turn of events late afternoon on Wednesday August 3rd, 2016, Nike Golf announced they are transitioning away from equipment and focusing on apparel and shoes. Some may be shocked, others may think it’s a longtime coming. Either way, we all wonder where our pals Tiger and Rory end up getting their clubs from.

NIKE FOCUSES GOLF INNOVATION ON FOOTWEAR AND APPAREL, TRANSITIONS OUT OF EQUIPMENT

NIKE, Inc. announced today that it will accelerate innovation in its Golf footwear and apparel business and will partner with more of the world’s best golfers. With this new focus, Nike Golf will transition out of equipment — including clubs, balls and bags.
