The GOZO GF07B electric push cart provides a freeing experience to walk 18 holes. An extremely friendly price point. GOZO’s intuitive app makes the overall operation, including an impressive auto follow feature, a best in class experience.
Introduction
GOZO is likely not a brand you have heard of before. That is okay because we’ve done all the work for you, testing it thoroughly so you can make an informed decision for your next purchase.
GOZO is a newer brand, started in Canada by a mechanical engineer who happened to be a weekend golfer. The founder set out to create a simpler electric push cart with better automation so golfers could focus on their game and not navigating a push cart. Thus, the GOZO GF07B electric push cart was born and after testing one over the past few months, I am going to share all the details.
Size & Setup
When the GOZO GF07B electric push cart showed up on my doorstep, the box was about the size I anticipated with plenty of heavy foam for safe transport. The only real assembly was attaching the wheels and pulling out all the included accessories.
Also included with each push cart is a charging cable for the battery. I only needed a few hours worth of a charge before it was at 100%, as indicated by a green light on the charger. The battery itself is thinner and less bulky than I’ve seen with other electric push carts. It snapped right into the bottom segment easily and becomes seamless with the lower cart section.
Folded up, the GOZO GF07B electric push cart was about two and a half feet in length and fit easily in the trunk of my SUV. Unfolding the unit initially took some time and direction, but once I read the included guide book, it was pretty easy. They also have short video tutorials online that show you this process and how to maneuver the two main axes to get it ready for the course.
Prior to my first round, the white remote was the only other prep needed to get started. It didn’t come with its own charger but only needed a simple USB-C cord. From here, it was off to the course and ready for the maiden voyage. [See Price / Buy]
Storage & Accessories
As you can see from the pictures, the GOZO GF07B electric push cart does not have any stock storage. However, it does come with a variety of accessories. The first, of which is a remote belt clip (below). I didn’t use this a whole lot because I prefer to throw it in my pocket or hold it, but it’s a nice option.
The GOZO GF07B electric push cart also comes with several other accessories that are easily attachable to the cart. These include an umbrella holder, bottle attachment, and cell phone holder. Everything attaches to the top arm of the cart. I am pleasantly surprised that GOZO includes a cell phone holder, as historically this has been an additional purchase for most carts (electric or not).
On Course Performance
Once both the cart battery and remote had reached a full charge, I was anxious to get the GOZO GF07B electric push cart out on the course. Unfolding the cart and attaching my bag using the upper and lower straps only took a few minutes, and I was off to the first tee. I started by using the remote joystick to drive the cart and initially found it to be overly sensitive. However, using the GOZO app, I adjusted the sensitivity setting which made a huge difference.
Once I had the sensitivity dialed in, I felt comfortable using the cruise control mode. A simple double click of the joystick put the GOZO GF07B electric push cart into cruise mode, and all I had to do was steer it left and right. My only complaint is that I found myself occasionally stopping it on accident when trying to go left or right. Overall, cruise control worked quite well, and I used it often, particularly through narrow parts of the course.

My favorite function of the GOZO GF07B electric push cart has to be the auto-follow feature. I have previously owned and tested several different brands of electric push carts and this works the best, by far. This is likely due to GOZO’s unique UWB (ultra wideband) wireless connection which connects the cart to the remote. To initiate this function, I single pressed the “puppy” icon on the remote, and it immediately started following me. I had an issue with it not following directly behind me, but a simple calibration on the app fixed this in a matter of minutes. It always stayed about 5 yards behind me but that was also easily adjustable in the app.
As a side note, even using the auto follow mode most of the round, I was able to use the electric push cart for 36 holes prior to recharging. The only caveat is that it was definitely on its last leg coming up on hole 36, indicated by the battery life icon in the main screen.
All that said, the best cruise control and auto follow features don’t mean anything if the cart can’t balance when taking on a course’s terrain. In the past, I have had other electric push carts go up a hill and flip over, tossing my clubs everywhere. The GOZO GF07B electric push cart’s wide and low profile wheel setup provided a well-balanced experience. At one point, I purposefully tried to take on a steep hill to see if it would roll over and it took it on without issue. I was very impressed.
Now, in case you’re still skeptical of a lesser known brand, GOZO offers a 30 day money back guarantee in addition to a two year manufacturer’s warranty against defects. The $1,369 price tag is lower than almost every other major electric push cart brand out there providing a ton of value. [See Price / Buy]
Conclusion
While GOZO is a relatively new player in this electric push cart market, they certainly found the sweet spot right out of the gate. The cruise control and auto follow features are some of the best functioning I have seen in this space with an app ready to fine tune your exact needs. Plus, it has an extremely balanced base for those who play hilly courses. All of these features come stock with multiple accessories at a value price tag of under $1,500. If you are in the market, I would highly suggest putting the GOZO GF07B electric push cart on your short list. [See Price / Buy]
