Titleist Introduces New Players and Hybrid Golf Bag Collections – Players 4 Plus Model in Play This Week on PGA Tour

FAIRHAVEN, MA – Titleist, Golf’s Symbol of Excellence, introduces five new golf bag models across two distinct categories – stand and hybrid – for the 2019 season.

Titleist Players Collection: The Titleist Players Collection stand bags – Players 4 StaDry, Players 4 Plus and Players 4 – offer feature-rich designs for dedicated golfers seeking a lightweight stand bag without sacrificing storage or durability.

The Players 4 StaDry is the ultimate performance option for golfers that walk in all weather conditions. Fourteen percent lighter than the prior generation model, Players 4 StaDry offers the same lightweight construction and features as the Players 4 – including a 25 percent increase in strap padding for more comfort while carrying – but with premium waterproof materials and seam-sealed protection. The Players 4 Plus is designed for golfers seeking the versatility and comfort of a lightweight stand bag but with extra storage options.

To commemorate the launch, the Players 4 Plus will be on display this week on the PGA Tour, carried by the caddies of Titleist brand ambassadors competing in the Waste Management Phoenix Open. The black, white and red bag model is one of 13 colorways in the Players 4 Plus line.

Titleist Hybrid Collection: The new Titleist Hybrid Collection bags are distinctly designed for golfers who like to walk and ride, offering the perfect blend of premium cart and stand bag features.

The two new models – Hybrid 14 and Hybrid 5 – combine the versatility of a Titleist stand bag with an added cart strap loop that allows access to the valuables pocket when strapped into the cart.

The Hybrid 14, with 14 full-length club dividers, provides superior organization with maximum storage, while the Hybrid 5 offers a more lightweight, cart-friendly design.

Lamkin Brand Ambassador, Justin Rose, Cements World #1 Position With Win At Torrey Pines

SAN DIEGO, CA – Lamkin Corporation – the original manufacturer of premium golf grips – would like to congratulate long time Lamkin grips loyalist and spokesman Justin Rose on his first victory of the 2019 season at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Rose posted a commanding score of 21 under par at Torrey Pines, capturing the win by two shots. With this victory, Rose has now secured 10 wins on the PGA Tour and has stretched his lead at the top of the Official Golf World Rankings where he has been in place for the last 7 weeks.

In a season that has seen Justin Rose change much of his equipment, one thing that has remained consistent is his choice of Lamkin grips, which have been on Rose’s clubs during his entire professional career. Made with Lamkin’s proprietary compounds and unique surface textures, Rose’s current R.E.L. ACE grips provide exceptional comfort, outstanding surface tack and unmatched vibration dampening.

Tour Star Bryson DeChambeau Wins His First-Ever European Tour Title Using Bridgestone’s TOUR B X Golf Balls

COVINGTON, GA – Bridgestone Golf Tour star Bryson DeChambeau continued his and the brand’s winning ways with a convincing 7-shot victory at the PGA European Tour’s Omega Dubai Desert Classic this weekend. The win is DeChambeau’s first ever title abroad and the 7th professional victory of his career. DeChambeau’s victory in Dubai complements a run of 7 wins on the PGA TOUR and 1 on the LPGA Tour over the last 5 months for Bridgestone.

Using Bridgestone Golf’s TOUR B X balls, ‘the golf scientist’ blew away the field in Dubai with prodigious driving and pinpoint approach shots throughout the week, on his way to finishing a record 24-under par for the tournament. Starting the final round with a 1-shot lead, DeChambeau once again proved he’s one of the best closers in the game – firing an 8-under par 64 that included 7 birdies and an eagle to finish with the largest margin of victory in the event’s history.

DeChambeau switched to the TOUR B X in late 2017 after extensive experimentation revealed a significant impact on his driving, iron play, short game and putting.  He also wears Bridgestone’s new TOUR B FIT Glove featuring high-end Cabretta leather with FIT technology to ensure a soft feel, consistent grip and excellent durability.

The TOUR B golf ball series is a result of Bridgestone’s continued commitment to providing premium tee-to-green performance to players of varying swing types. Bridgestone owns over 800 golf ball patents and fully leverages the company’s heritage of excellence in polymer science worldwide to design the industry’s most cutting-edge golf balls.
