PUMA Golf Partnered with Speaqua Sound Co. to Launch A New Versatile Bluetooth Speaker

CARLSBAD, CA – Excited to announce that today PUMA Golf is introducing a new PopTop Mini speaker, perfect for golfers who enjoy listening to their favorite tunes while sipping a cold beverage on the links. The PopTop Mini powered by Speaqua Sound Co. is designed to deliver premium sound from the course to the beach, poolside, or anywhere the music and your favorite beverage may take you. The added bonus, is a built-in PUMA ‘P’ ball marker and handy bottle opener, so you’re always prepared on the course.

Don’t let the small size fool you, the PopTop Mini delivers high-quality sound, Bluetooth connectivity, and dual pairing compatibility that allows for easy linking between speakers to amplify sound while jamming out with your foursome. Equipped with a five-hour battery life, the PopTop Mini is designed to accompany you through your entire golf round, and unlike your buddies, it won’t judge your golf game.

The sleek, pocket-friendly design, just 2.4 inches in diameter, slips easily into your pocket, while a leash accessory allows for convenient attachment to a golf bag, purse or backpack. The speaker is water, dust and shock proof, so you can rest easy knowing it will withstand an unexpected downpour or an accidental fall into your favorite drink.  So, head to the course, crack open your favorite refreshment and keep the good vibes alive throughout your entire round!

“The PopTop Mini is a ‘must-have’ for golfers who want to have fun on the course. It’s incredibly versatile, delivering great sound in a portable design that is easily attached to your bag.  It’s waterproof – because you never know when you might end up in the water – and has a solid battery life to get you through most any round,” said Zack Oakley, Project Line Manager, Accessories, PUMA Golf. “The game is evolving and at PUMA Golf we’re working to help make the game more fun. Pair the right music with your favorite foursome and you’re guaranteed to have a good time regardless of how you score.”

Now on the Tee: adidas Limited-Edition ZX 8000 Golf Shoe

CARLSBAD, CA – adidas Golf is going back to the archives, this time by giving golfers some added confidence on their feet through another iconic adidas silhouette. Today, adidas is announcing the availability of the first-ever ZX model built for golf – the limited-edition ZX 8000 Golf – available beginning September 4 at 8 a.m. PT.

The adidas Originals’ ZX series, first released in 1984, was born from the idea that runners need a variety of footwear options depending on the type of run, surface or training they were looking to accomplish. Taking all those intentions to heart, adidas Golf adapted this mentality to create the ZX 8000 Golf by packing in everything a golfer would need to not only look stylish, but also give them the traction and performance they need throughout the round. The silhouette also takes design cues and color inspiration from the original ZX 8000 running shoe first released in 1989.

Many of the innovations and characteristics that set the ZX apart more than 35 years ago, which adidas continued to build upon over time, can be found in this limited-edition model made for golf: the patented Torsion System for added stability, responsive BOOST midsole, and the unmistakable vibrant colorways (clear aqua/shock yellow with pops of purple) that certainly provide added flare to any wardrobe. adidas also used water resistant materials in the upper to help offer some protection from the elements should players need it.

The spikeless outsole is built upon the original grip pattern by adding longer, golf-specific secondary lugs, and a more aggressive tread pattern to ensure grip and stability in every swing along with comfort in every step.

adidas didn’t overlook adding little details to make this a unique ZX model for golf. The footwear features a lace jewel with the words “ZX GOLF” at the bottom of the eyestay, a leather toecap, and a unique adidas Golf logo added to the heel and sockliner.

“As the original sports brand, we are in a unique position to draw on our extensive archives for inspiration,” said Masun Denison, global footwear director, adidas Golf. “The ZX was always meant to challenge the way people thought about running performance and we wanted to do the same with golf footwear by pushing the limits with technology and fashion. Offering the ZX 8000 Golf is just another example of how we combine sports heritage, performance and lifestyle to ultimately push golf fashion in a more progressive way.”

Titleist Golf Ball Fitting Experts Now Available For Virtual Consultations

FAIRHAVEN, MA – Golfers trying to find the best golf ball for their game can begin the fitting process by booking a one-on-one video call with an expert Titleist golf ball fitter.

Titleist Virtual Golf Ball Consultations – now available Monday-Friday through the Golf Ball Fitting page on Titleist.com – allow golfers who aren’t able to attend an in-person Titleist Golf Ball Fitting event the opportunity to speak directly to one of the same fitters they would meet on site.

Virtual consultations will mirror the initial conversation a golfer would have with a Titleist fitter if they were at the course. This includes an in-depth assessment of the golfer’s game, analyzing their performance objectives and personal preferences. At the end of the video call, the fitter will provide recommended Titleist golf ball models that the golfer can test on the golf course using Titleist’s Golf Ball Fitting Evaluation Scorecard.

Titleist’s Tour-validated “Green-to-Tee” approach to golf ball fitting – which involves an evaluation of all shots on the golf course, with the greatest emphasis placed on scoring shots – successfully fits players of all abilities, from the world’s best to high-handicap amateurs.

Virtual consultations are complimentary and scheduled for up to 30 minutes, allowing golfers time to ask any additional questions they have about golf ball performance and fitting.

In addition to in-person events and virtual consultations, golfers can also begin the fitting process by using the Titleist Golf Ball Selection tool on Titleist.com. After answering a series of questions, golfers are provided a recommended and alternative ball to test on the golf course.
