Fujikura Takes #1 Spot for Driver and Wood Shaft at the PGA Championship
CARLSBAD, CA – Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was proud to be the #1 driver and wood shaft at the 104th PGA Championship.
In a championship field at Southern Hills CC, Fujikura was number one in both driver and wood shaft categories at the PGA Championship. For the driver shaft count, 32.1% of the field this year used Fujikura, with another 27.5% of the field also choosing Fujikura in their wood shaft.
In the 3-hole play-off drama on Sunday evening, both competitors trusted in Fujikura in their bags. The runner-up used a Fujikura Speeder 757 TR in his driver and the VENTUS Blue 8X in his 3-wood. While the eventual major winner used a Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 9.2X shaft in his 5-wood on his way to a second PGA Championship victory.

Justin Thomas used a 3-wood in the playoff with a Mitsubishi shaft…. That is what won him the hole and Major, not a Fuji. He also plays Mitsubishi in his driver but that isnt mentioned in this article. Seems a little biased.
