New PING G430 LST 3-Wood Delivers More Speed and Performance Through Multi-Material Technology
PHOENIX, AZ – Unlocking more speed and distance through multi-material technology and proven innovations like Carbonfly Wrap, Ti-Facewrap and Spinsistency, PING introduced the G430 LST 3-wood today.
The low-spinning, tour-style design combines a 2041 Beta-Ti face, Ti 8-1-1 body, and 80-gram tungsten sole plate to position the CG low/back for faster ball speeds with reduced spin, producing on average seven yards more distance.
Ti-Facewrap increases face flexing, distance
The variable-thickness, high-strength titanium face wraps into the crown and sole of the lightweight titanium body, generating more flexing for faster ball speed and higher launch for greater distance. The combination of the titanium body and high-density 80-gram tungsten sole plate helps position the CG lower and farther back to produce higher-launching, lower-spinning and longer shots.
Face curvature optimized for speed
The low-profile, 169cc head also benefits from Spinsistency, a proven clubface innovation engineered with a variable roll radius that improves performance across the face (especially on shots hit low on the face) by reducing spin for more distance. A tighter bulge radius increases ball speed and minimizes off-line dispersion.
Carbonfly Wrap crown saves weight, lowers CG
The LST (Low Spin Technology) model joins the MAX and SFT (Straight Flight Technology) designs in completing the line of G430 fairway woods introduced earlier this year. Like those models, the LST 3-wood is engineered with a Carbonfly Wrap crown to help deliver more distance by positioning the CG lower and closer to the force line to maximize ball speed, resulting in higher, longer carries. The 8-layer composite crown, which saves approximately 5.5 grams compared to a titanium crown, wraps into the heel and toe sections of the skirt. The discretionary weight is reallocated to achieve the lower CG and increase ball speed. The composite crown weighs 8.5 grams fully installed and contributes to the club’s pleasing sound.

SuperStroke Congratulates Wyndham Clark on First-Career Major Victory at The U.S. Open
WIXOM, MI – SuperStroke, the No. 1 Putter Grip in golf and the leader in innovative Tour-proven golf grip technology, congratulates PGA Tour veteran Wyndham Clark on his first-career major championship victory at The United States Open at Los Angeles Country Club. Clark, who recorded his first career victory at The Wells Fargo Championship in May, fired a final-round 70 to hold off three former major winners and win by a single stroke. Clark played in the final group in the final two rounds, showing a steady resolve that culminated with a lengthy clutch lag putt at the 72nd hole to set up the clinching tap in.
With this monumental victory, Clark who uses a SuperStroke Zenergy Tour 3.0 17” putter grip (from the brand’s new “Off the Truck” series), moved up to fourth place in the FedEx Cup Playoff Standings and collected the $3.6 million winner’s purse. The NBC Sports broadcast referenced numerous times that Clark put this putter set up, including his SuperStroke grip, into play earlier this spring after admiring how well another popular player on tour was putting and Clark ordered a putter with that player’s exact specs. Clark has now won twice with this unique putting configuration which uses extra length for a counter-balance effect and a thicker, no-taper grip for stroke stability.
The grip Clark used, the SuperStroke Zenergy Tour 3.0 17”, sold out quickly during U.S. Open week but will be available again mid-July. Those interested in ordering one can join the waitlist on SuperStrokeUSA.com.
Eight of the players who finished tied for 10th, or better, at the U.S. Open were using SuperStroke putter grips. SuperStroke brand ambassador Patrick Cantlay shot 67 – 69 in the final two rounds to finish tied for 14th.
At 3.6 inches longer than the standard grip, the Zenergy Tour 3.0 17” – released as part of SuperStroke’s “Off the Truck” series of grips that have been developed with crucial input from tour professionals seeking feel, comfort, performance, and a competitive edge – offers golfers a range of unique benefits. Like any of SuperStroke’s extended length grips, the Tour 3.0 17″ can be used to achieve an armlock setup by positioning the grip up the forearm. Additionally, the Tour 3.0 17″ grip can serve as a counterbalance option, extending the grip above the hands. This allows golfers to shift the weight above the hands and elevate the balance point of the putter, resulting in a more consistent stroke.
Available in White & Black and Red & Black options, the Zenergy Tour 3.0 17″ Tour Series putter grip features SuperStroke’s traditional and most popular putter grip profile. The Tour Series parallel design has a uniform lower hand profile to minimize grip pressure and maintain putter head path for a more consistent stroke.
As part of Zenergy, SuperStroke’s latest line of putter grips featuring enhanced Spyne technology, the Zenergy Tour 3.0 17” Putter Grip features new multi-zone texturing, and our patented no-taper shape for unmatched confidence to quiet your hands – and your mind.
Features Include:
- Enhanced Spyne™ Technology – The new Spyne™ Technology has an improved, embossed ridge along the underside of the grip, engineered to make it easier to square the face at impact.
- New Multi-Zone Texturing – Strategically placed textured in high-sensory areas designed to optimize feedback and comfort from the incredibly soft polyurethane outer layer.
- Tech-Port – Located at the top of SuperStroke grips, Tech-Port allows golfers to easily add game-improvement options including the patented CounterCore weight system and performance tracking sensors.
SuperStroke grips are trusted by legions of top professional golfers. In 2022, SuperStroke users won 61 tournaments on golf’s major professional tours, totaling more than $58.5 million in first-place prize money in those events.
SuperStroke’s putter grip line is a product of relentless innovation, fueled by feedback from more than 450 tour pros. From signature shapes and sizes to the cutting-edge materials, SuperStroke delivers unprecedented features into every putter grip while connecting golfer and putter like no other product on the market.
