Nippon Shaft Players Earn Two More Victories

CARLSBAD, CA – Nippon Shaft’s MODUS³ series of shafts added professional victories Nos. 178 and 179 Sunday, with winners on the LPGA Tour and the European Challenge Tour. They were the 24th and 25th MODUS³ victories on pro tours worldwide this season alone.

The 25-year-old Frenchman used Nippon Shaft’s N.S.PRO MODUS³ Tour 130 X steel shafts in his irons and the N.S.PRO MODUS³ Wedge 125 in his wedges to shoot 13-under par to win the Hauts de France – Pas de Calais Golf Open at Aa Saint-Omer Golf Club in France.  His rounds of 70-68-67-66 included a bogey-free weekend, leading to his fourth top 10 finish in just six starts and putting him in excellent position to earn his European Tour playing privileges for 2020.

In Belmont, Michigan, the 21-year-old Ontario native used Nippon Shaft’s N.S.PRO MODUS³ Tour 105 S-flex steel shafts in her irons and the N.S.PRO MODUS³ Wedge 115 in her wedges to shoot 21-under par and win the Meijer LPGA Classic at Blythefield CC.

“Nippon Shaft is proud that tour professionals all over the world trust our precision-manufactured steel shafts to give them the competitive advantage they need to succeed at the game’s highest levels,” said Hiro Fukuda, marketing and sales for Nippon Shaft.  “We are confident that our products can help golfers of all abilities play to their potential and enjoy the game more.”

Branson Golf Destination Sizzles with Summer Events and Specials

BRANSON, MO – Playing Branson golf this summer offers many on- and off-course options, thanks to the Ozark destination’s variety, high quality, top-rated venues, and creative programming.

Play Branson Hills Golf Club – ranked No. 2 by Golfweek in its “America’s Best Courses You Can Play by State, 2019” – during the day, then celebrate its 10th Anniversary on Sunday, June 30, from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Live music by Pistol Whip, BBQ, drinks, and fireworks are included. There is no cover charge for the event, $1 hot dogs, $2 hamburgers, and $2 draft beers will be available.

Designed by Chuck Smith with input from Bobby Clampett, Branson Hills winds through the undulating landscape that defines the Ozarks. It’s an excellent layout, with superb course conditions, multiple tee box options, and a recently remodeled clubhouse and restaurant. The motif showcases Missouri golf history and its iconic players (Tom Watson, Payne Stewart, and others). Branson Hills teams with hotels, golf villas, and condos to offer several lodging options.

Summer days are the year’s longest – no better time to double up rounds in one day. Pointe Royal Golf makes it easy with its “Day at the Pointe” special. For $99, you can play 36 holes at The Pointe, a savings of nearly 35% off peak-season green fees.

Many golf travelers like to play golf by day, then explore a destination’s unique offerings afterward. Branson is particularly well-stocked with post-play options. It’s also well-regarded, a fact illuminated by being named a Trip Advisor 2019 Travelers’ Choice Top 25 U.S. Destination. It has been named one of the nation’s Top 25 destinations for eight consecutive years. Live entertainment theaters, historic downtown, museums, spas, waterfront shopping and restaurants, and outdoor adventures (including zip lines, lakes, hiking, boating), are some of the many choices.
