LA Golf Announces Partnership With World #1 Dustin Johnson
LOS ANGELES, CA – LA Golf announced today world #1 Dustin Johnson is the newest LA Golf partner.
Johnson has also become a major shareholder and will join the Board of Directors alongside defending U.S. Open Champion Bryson DeChambeau, TV personality Amanda Balionis, entertainer Kelley James, Duck Commander’s Willie Robertson, and Marucci Sports CEO Kurt Ainsworth.
After playing the same shafts for over a decade, Johnson is switching to LA Golf’s shafts in pursuit of more distance and accuracy. In the last few months alone, over 20 top Tour players, including six Major champions have put LA Golf in play, with a host of others in line to collaborate on a custom design structure.
LA Golf was founded by CEO Reed Dickens, who developed a reputation for partnering with players as the founding CEO of Marucci Sports, the maker of the number one bat in baseball. Dickens connected early with Bryson DeChambeau who wanted to design a shaft from scratch that would withstand unprecedented ball speeds.

COBRA Golf Releases New KING TEC Hybrid With Advanced Technologies to Deliver Exceptional Distance, Forgiveness, and Control
Carlsbad, CA – COBRA® Golf, a leader in golf club innovation, unveiled today the new KING TEC Hybrid, the newest addition to their KING players’ family. Packed with innovative technologies, the KING TEC Hybrid is designed for better players who seek a utility club that delivers reliable carry distance and enhanced forgiveness off the tee and on longer approach shots into par 5’s.
The KING TEC Hybrid is the only hybrid in COBRA’s lineup to feature a PWRSHELL Face design (also featured in the latest RADSPEED irons). The innovative design utilizes a thin, forged 455 stainless steel L-cup insert that is hyper-flexible to promote faster ball speed and higher launch across the face. In addition, the KING TEC hybrid features a Carbon Fiber Crown that saves 10g that are repositioned low and back within the clubhead to lower CG. The KING TEC Hybrid is available in right and left hand (left hand custom only) in four different lofts —a 17° 2H (adjustable from 15.5° to 18.5°), a 19° 3H (adjustable from 17.5° to 20.5°), a 21° 4H (adjustable from 19.5° to 22.5°) and a 24° 5H (adjustable from 22.5° to 25.5°). Each hybrid is equipped with either a Mitsubishi Chemical MMT 80 graphite hybrid shaft in extra-stiff & stiff flex and a MMT 70 in regular flex.
