L.A.B. Golf Launches MEZZ.1 MAX, All-New MEZZ.1 Custom Putter Options

EUGENE, OR – L.A.B. Golf has launched MEZZ.1 MAX, a supersized version of MEZZ.1 that delivers outrageous stability only rivaled by the company’s DF 2.1 putter.

L.A.B. Golf is also launching new color and weight options for its new MEZZ.1 MAX and MEZZ.1, its best-selling putter model and the most trusted L.A.B. Golf putter on the professional tours.

MEZZ.1 MAX

MEZZ.1 MAX is 20% larger than MEZZ.1 to make it almost as stable as the company’s hugely forgiving DF 2.1. It’s available for Standard-Length, ArmLock, and Broomstick builds.

Like MEZZ.1, the MEZZ.1 MAX uses a multi-material construction to create unrivaled stability. Its midsection is crafted from 303 stainless to give it a steel-like feel at impact. Its wing-shaped putter body, which is made from 6061 aircraft aluminum, expands its sweet spot across the face to negate the impact of mishits. Both are fully CNC milled from solid billets to offer golfers the highest level of precision.

Like all L.A.B. Golf putters, MEZZ.1 MAX is hand-balanced one at a time by L.A.B. Golf craftsman in Eugene, Oregon. Each putter is individually weighted based on its length, lie angle, and shaft model to ensure the putters are perfectly Lie Angle Balanced and will stay square by themselves.

MEZZ.1 MAX builds for ArmLock and Broomstick putters have sixteen sole weights – twice the amount of a standard-length MEZZ.1 – to meet the headweight demands of ArmLock and Broomstick builds. The standard-length MEZZ.1 MAX features eight sole weights but is visually identical to the ArmLock and Broomstick version at address.

NEW CUSTOM COLORS

MEZZ.1 MAX Custom and MEZZ.1 Custom are available in six different color options: black, platinum, red, blue, cappuccino, and orange.

The colors are applied with a new proprietary anodizing process that L.A.B. Golf is now using on all MEZZ.1 MAX, MEZZ.1, and DF 2.1 putter heads. The anodizing process adds more vibrance to L.A.B. Golf putter colors while also improving durability and scratch resistance.

NEW HEADWEIGHT OPTION

With MEZZ.1 MAX Custom and MEZZ.1 Custom, golfers will be able to specify their head weight preference for the first time: Standard, Heavy, and Light.

L.A.B. Golf recommends its standard weight for golfers that have not had a preference about putter head weight in the past. If golfers prefer heavier or lighter putters, however, they can now choose to have their putter built to a heavier or lighter head weight.

Golfers that change their mind in the future about what putter head weight they would like can send their putter back to L.A.B. Golf to be re-weighted for $100.

PRICING & CUSTOMIZATION

MEZZ.1 MAX Custom and MEZZ.1 Custom putters start at $559. Golfers can choose from 6 different colors, 11 different alignment markings, and various upgrade shaft and grip options.

MEZZ.1 MAX Stock ($469) and MEZZ.1 Stock ($449) will be available in L.A.B. Golf’s most popular length and lie configurations with a premium steel shaft.
