Royal Albartross London Welcomes Wearers into “The Wild”
Luxury golf brand unveils new animal-inspired footwear and accessories collection at 2019 PGA Show
(LONDON – Royal Albartross London (RA) – golf’s high-end footwear and fashion accessories brand – has debuted its most daring and robust collection to-date at the 2019 PGA Show in Orlando, Florida.
Dubbed “The Wild” by RA chief executive officer and award-winning designer, Alex Bartholomew, the 2019 collection features men’s and women’s footwear and accessories in supple leathers and bold animal prints.
“The Wild” women’s collection features RA’s newest design, The Runway. A perfect fusion of high-end ballet flat with performance-inspired soft-spike sole, The Runway takes golf’s “links to life” philosophy to the next level. The 2019 all-leather Runway Collection includes two tasseled colorways – zebra with turquoise and red accents, and python with pale pink accents – and seven color-blocking combinations with patent leather toe accents – nude with rose gold patent, white with red accents and navy patent, quilted red leather with red patent, black quilted with black patent, fuchsia quilted with orange patent, beige quilted with black patent, and leopard hair with black accent and fuchsia patent.
RA’s men’s collection brings “The Wild” to life through its most luxurious shoe, The Croco. Available in black, navy and crème leather colorways, the crocodile-inspired Croco blends sophisticated style with links-ready comfort and performance. RA will also offer a Limited Edition, deep-green “Croco 63” this spring to honor Augusta’s world-famous major tournament and its historic low-score. Croco 63 will be the first of four limited edition shoes to celebrate golf’s 2019 majors – a small quantity of each design will be offered to legacy clubs, and the rest will be sold exclusively online at us.royalbartross.com.

PGA Golf Club, Cresswind at PGA Village Verano Announce Updates for 2019
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – PGA Golf Club – the PGA of America’s premier 54-hole facility – and KOLTER HOMES, a leader in developing next-generation, highly-amenitized, master-planned active adult communities in the southeastern U.S., announce enhancements for 2019 that demonstrate a commitment to the Port St. Lucie golf club and community.
Known as the “Ultimate Golf Destination,” PGA Golf Club renovated its three decorated courses – designed by Tom Fazio and Pete Dye – over the past two years. Those enhancements included renovated bunkers on its famed Wanamaker Course and a new drainage system to parts of the layout. On the Dye Course, popular cart wear spots were updated, making traffic control throughout the golf course more efficient. The Ryder Course reopened in 2017 to rave reviews following a renovation project that enhanced the greens and surrounding areas.
In 2021, PGA Golf Club will host the PGA Professional Championship on the Wanamaker and Ryder Courses. The tournament, which will occur in the spring of 2021, will be comprised of players who advance from the 41 PGA Section Championships, along with past champions. All four rounds will be broadcast live on The Golf Channel.
Neighboring PGA Golf Club, Cresswind at PGA Village Verano is a gated, 55+ neighborhood that is part of the KOLTER HOMES portfolio. Cresswind resides within the larger gated, PGA Village Verano community and is designed to help residents live better, longer based on the pillars of fitness, nutrition and relationships.
Earlier this year, PGA Village Verano broke ground on the PGA Village Verano Pickleball Center, giving both the community and the brand-new Cresswind neighborhood access to South Florida’s largest private pickleball complex. The facility will have 27 pickleball courts, including a center-court for tournaments, multiple viewing areas with spectator seating, and an event lawn with pavilion area. The outdoor arena is projected to open in late summer.
Cresswind at PGA Village Verano will also open the Cresswind Oasis, a pool and sundeck accessible only to its residents. Construction for the first round of Cresswind houses is on track, allowing for move-in to start this spring. Combining luxury and low-maintenance living, the neighborhood offers residents homes starting in the mid $200s complemented by a rich portfolio of resident amenities.
Cresswind residents have full access to PGA Village Verano’s 27,000-square-foot social clubhouse and 13,000-square-foot fitness center. These fitness and social centers offer a wide array of social and wellness programs, full-time lifestyle and activities directors, and state-of-the-art facilities including a resort-style pool; tennis, basketball and bocce ball courts and indoor Junior Olympic pool.
