PUMA Golf Kicks off the 2022 Golf Season With the Alpha of Spikeless Shoes – PROADAPT ALPHACAT
CARLSBAD, CA – PUMA Golf introduces its new PROADAPT ALPHACAT, the “Alpha” of all spikeless shoes. A fresh design that combines exceptional performance and hi-tech materials with PUMA’s trademark fashion-forward aesthetic, makes the ALPHACAT the new standard in the premium, spikeless golf shoe category. Available in two versions for men: standard lace and DISC ($150), as well as a laced model for the women ($120) each in a variety of colorways.
The PROADAPT ALPHACAT boasts an impressive array of innovative materials including PUMA Golf’s proprietary ADAPT Foam, which is made from a combination of EVA Cushioning and an impact resistant polymer. The combination of the materials creates a platform that provides impact resistance, high energy return, and excellent ground feel. The Multi Material Outsole, which features a high-durometer, abrasion resistant TPU perimeter, provides stability and traction on soft surfaces while the central Crystal Rubber unit, provides exceptional ground gripping traction and a soft under foot feel on hard surfaces, giving you the confidence to hit any shot no matter the lie. The upper is an EXO Shell comprised of engendered mesh with a TPU Film that provides both structure and support as well as waterproof performance (1-year guarantee).

Wilson Signs PGA Tour Winner Martin Trainer to its Golf Advisory Board
CHICAGO, IL – Wilson Sporting Goods Co. today announced that professional golfer Martin Trainer has joined its Golf Advisory Staff. The 30-year-old American won the Puerto Rico Open during the 2018-19 PGA TOUR season and also owns three other professional victories on the Korn Ferry and PGA TOUR LatinoAmerica tours.
Trainer will make his debut as a member of the Wilson Golf Advisory Staff at this week’s Waste Management Phoenix Open, putting into play Wilson products throughout his bag:

Trainer played college golf at the University of Southern California, where he won the 2011 Pac-12 Championship as a sophomore, and turned pro in 2013. He won twice on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2018 to secure his PGA TOUR card for the 2018-19 season, and in his 11th start on professional golf’s highest tour, secured his first PGA TOUR victory at the 2019 Puerto Rico Open. His three-shot victory over Daniel Berger secured his status for two seasons, and his T5 finish at the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Houston Open earlier this season has helped him move within the top 125 in the FedExCup rankings with an eye toward making the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the first time in his career.

Trainer joins a growing roster of Wilson Golf Advisory Staff members, including PGA TOUR players Gary Woodland, Kevin Streelman, Padraig Harrington, Brendan Steele, Kevin Tway, Kevin Chappell, John Augenstein and Ricky Barnes as well as LPGA player Sophia Schubert.
