Toulon Golf Announces 2024 First Run Collection Putter Line

VISTA, CA –  Toulon Golf, the maker of the most exquisite milled putters in the world, today is thrilled to announce our 2024 First Run Collection putter line. The 2024 First Run Collection will feature eight different head shapes — including three available in left hand. Several mallets will be available in various hosel styles to accommodate player stroke preferences.

First Run Collection products will exist alongside our Small Batch putter releases. Small Batch will continue at a roughly once-a-month cadence at smaller quantities and higher price points. First Run Collection products will be priced beginning at $600 and will be available in higher quantities.
“We couldn’t be more excited to share the 2024 First Run Collection line with the world,” said Toulon Golf founder Sean Toulon. “At our core, my sons and I are golfers. We get excited about putters and how they uniquely evoke emotion and make golfers feel. Our putters are a labor of love and we feel that shines through in the final product.”

Of the eight models, six return and two are all-new. The six returning models are Madison, San Diego, Austin, Memphis, Atlanta and Las Vegas. Two new models join the fold in 2024: a wide-body blade called New York City, and a large mallet called Alcatraz. All of the six returning models have been refined and redesigned for the 2024 Collection.

The 2024 First Run Collection features four blades and four mallets. The first blade is called ‘Madison,’ so named for the hometown of Toulon Golf founder Sean Toulon. The blades are rounded out with the sharper, more angular San Diego, the flowing, wider-cavity Austin, and the all-new wide body New York City.

The four mallets in the line include the compact mid-mallet Atlanta and an entirely redesigned Memphis. The new Memphis is more ear-shaped than Memphis from 2022, and is available in two different hosel styles — Double Bend for those that prefer less toe hang, and also in our H7 flow neck for golfers who prefer more toe hang. The mallet line also includes our popular Las Vegas, also available in two hosel styles: Double Bend for those that prefer face balance, and also in our H1 crank neck hosel, an emerging trend on tour. Golfers who would prefer to play a blade but enjoy the forgiveness of a mallet will love Las Vegas H1.

The mallets are rounded out with Alcatraz, an all-new mallet inspired by a head shape that took the tour by storm in 2023 and 2024. Alcatraz is available in our H1 crank neck hosel and in Double Bend.
Left-handers will have three different options to choose from with our popular San Diego blade, Las Vegas H1 and Alcatraz Double Bend.

All 2024 First Run Collection putters are masterfully milled from 303 Stainless Steel and use our beautiful Chocolate PVD finish with Heritage Green and Cream accents. All First Run putters use our mid-depth Double Fly Cut face mill to produce an extremely soft, responsive feel and a pleasing sound. The soles of all First Run models contain two interchangeable weights. Putters are milled to a final head weight of about 360 grams, but the adjustable weights allow golfers to make the putters 10 grams lighter or 30 grams heavier.

All 2024 First Run Collection putters will also be available in our Heavy-Spec package. These putters are built with a 15-inch oversize grip and heavier head weights to accommodate the growing trend of golfers seeking longer, heavier putters.

New TOUR360 24 Dives Inside to Focus On Fit, Durability and Performance

CARLSBAD, CA – Heading into its 19th year of providing golfers with pinnacle performance in golf footwear, adidas completely redesigned its premium flagship footwear franchise from the inside out to introduce TOUR360 24. Wrapped in confidence, the newest chapter elevates every touchpoint for the foot to help with traction, stability and comfort to give golfers everything they need to perform their best on the course. The new footwear will come in both laced and BOA® models for men and women and will be available on, the adidas app and at select retailers beginning Thursday, February 29.

The same way golf is a sport of constantly striving for perfection, adidas approaches each iteration of the TOUR360 with that same mindset. After pushing the TOUR360 to new heights in 2022, the brand utilized feedback from athletes and consumers around the world to target specific areas to help with fit, durability and performance with this version. This in-depth and collaborative approach resulted in an elevated design with performance at the heart of every detail.

Specifically, adidas focused on three key areas with the new TOUR360 24:

FIT: The new TOUR360 24 brings key technologies inside the shoe so that the footwear fits the right way. To help give golfers a better fit, adidas is introducing:

  • INSITE™ 2.0 Sockliner
Modified for TOUR360 24, this insole features updated shaping in the arch and heel to provide improved fit and stability.
  • Internal 360WRAP
adidas included an internal fit sleeve on the sides of the tongue along with the new TORSION BRIDGE in the midsole that when combined gives golfers a feeling of 360 support throughout the swing.
  • Performance Last
TOUR360 24 is built on adidas’ performance last to help ensure fit consistency across other performance models in the range. Men’s models of TOUR360 24 will be offered in both medium and wide widths while the women’s model will be offered in medium width only.

PERFORMANCE: Perhaps one of the most critical pieces for golfers, the adidas team designed the new footwear specifically with performance in mind. Key features include:

Comprised of a more rigid top plate and flexible bottom plate, this new TPU TORSION BRIDGE drives maximum stability across the mid and forefoot for where golfers need it most, especially as they load and unload power through the swing. It also sits lower to the ground to help conform to uneven lies and surfaces.
For the first time in golf, adidas is using JET BOOST in the heel, which fuses smaller, firmer energy capsules together to provide the ultimate blend of stability and comfort. When combined with LIGHTSTRIKE in the forefoot, golfers will get the most out of cushioning and a feeling of stability throughout the swing.
  • Replaceable THINTECH 7-spike outsole
Designed for optimal traction the TPU outsole features replaceable spikes where golfers need them most. adidas also included flex grooves in the secondary traction, finished with high gloss to help reduce clogging in the footwear. adidas also placed a spike closer to the toe to allow for better toe-off through the swing to help generate additional power from the ground.

DURABILITY: Golfers find themselves in a variety of conditions as they play, so adidas included some key features to go along with the premium leather and microfiber materials to help the shoes last from season to season:

  • ‘T-Shape’ suede microfiber heel
This new three-piece construction combines a soft, anti-abrasive sandwiched textile that runs from the center heel to the half collar to help eliminate wear and tear over time while enhancing overall comfort.
  • Waterproof leather upper
This premium, soft, waterproof leather upper is designed for long-term durability and protection in wet conditions so that golfers get the protection they need.

As part of the TOUR360 24 range, adidas is introducing a new BOA® model for men and women to provide another option for improved fit and performance. Hidden within the upper of the footwear, adidas collaborated with the BOA Technology team to create a shell pattern fit system that works in conjunction with the lining of the leather upper to enhance overall fit and function. Featuring the micro-adjustable Li2 dial, the system sits underneath a zipper shroud in the upper for a premium and clean aesthetic. Wrapping around the midfoot, golfers will feel even more locked-in as the BOA Li2 dial provides a customized fit.

The new TOUR360 24 will be available in a variety of colorways in laced and BOA versions for both men and women, along with a simplified lace model for junior golfers inspired by the footwear, beginning Thursday, February 29 on, the adidas app and at select retailers worldwide.

PING Announces Five New Models Joining PLD Milled Putter Series; Custom Options Added

PHOENIX, AZ – Five new models and the ability to personalize each design through an on-line customizer tool represent the newest additions to the Putting Lab Design (PLD) program, PING CEO & President John K. Solheim announced.

‘The 2024 PLD Milled Anser, Anser 2D, Oslo 3, DS72 and Ally Blue 4 are available at PING authorized retailers committed to selling premium, custom-fit putters. The on-line customizer tool is available on

Tour Inspired, Tour Proven
The five new PLD Milled models (U.S. MSRP: $485) represent a combination of standard-setting favorites like the Anser and newer, tour-proven models like the DS72, the choice of 2023 FedExCup Champion Viktor Hovland. The Anser 2D and Oslo 3 are tour-influenced, high-MOI designs and the Ally Blue 4 is a new, multi-material mallet that delivers exceptional forgiveness with can’t-miss alignment features.

Four of the new models (Anser, Anser 2D, DS72 and Oslo 3) are fully machined from forged, 303 stainless steel and each is distinguished by an attractive gunmetal finish. The deep AMP (Aggressive Milling Pattern) face technology on all the models is employed for tour-preferred sound, feel and speed. More than four hours of milling time are required for every model, precisely shaping every surface and radius to achieve the high quality and premium look expected in a precision-milled putter.

The Ally Blue 4 is a fully machined, three-piece design differentiated by its square footprint and full-length top alignment aid. The strong-arc design consists of an aluminum body, stainless steel soleplate and aluminum hosel to create an extremely high-MOI, easy-to-align mallet. The gunmetal finish contrasts with a matte black body and hosel to create a stunning, confidence- inspiring design.

PLD Milled Plus – Make it Personal
In a continuing effort to help golfers create personalized, eye-catching putters through the various PLD programs, the 2024 models can be further distinguished with preferred alignment aids, paint fill, custom graphics and paint-filled grips. Known as PLD Milled Plus (U.S. MSRP: $585), golfers utilize a customizer tool on to design their one-of-a-kind putter.

During the process, golfers can choose multiple, single or no alignment feature on four of the models (except Ally Blue 4). The top rail can be customized with either a dot or line while the cavity floor offers full-length alignment line assistance. They can be painted the same color, different colors or left unpainted. Same goes for the PING and PLD logos on all the models.

Multiple laser-etched graphics on all five models let golfers show their allegiance to PING (dancing or single Mr. PING logos) or the United States (Stars and Stripes). For those who have supreme confidence in their putting, the money sign might be the best bet.

A painted-filled PING logo on the grip further differentiates the putter from the others. Blue, gold, green, orange, red, pink, yellow, purple, white and blackout are available to complete the design.

At the end of the process, golfers take their unique design specifications to an authorized PING PLD Milled Plus retailer who places the order with PING’s customization specialists at company headquarters in Phoenix, where the design is brought to life.
