Sun Mountain Adds 14-Way Top to Its Lightest Golf Bag

MISSOULA, MT – Golf bags with individual club dividers are more popular every year. To answer this demand, Sun Mountain is introducing the 2.5+ 14-way bag. This bag has a spacious 10.5 inch top with fourteen individual dividers and weighs just under four pounds. The 2020 2.5+ 14-way is available in six different colors with a full-retail price of $239.99.

2.5+ 14-way features fourteen individual club dividers that run the full length of the bag to protect clubs and prevent the clubs’ shafts from tangling together. This is important to note as some companies’ club dividers only go partway down the bag so offer the same look and organization but do not keep the clubs from getting tangled.

The 10.5” top on the 2.5+ 14-way is constructed from lightweight, high-strength-to-weight plastic with a comfort-grip handle for ease in picking up the bag and setting it down. The shoulder strap is Sun Mountain’s exclusive X-Strap System that is easy to get on and off and works well as a single strap for short carries. The 2.5+ 14-way offers five pockets include a full-length apparel pocket; a velour-lined, valuables pocket; a ball pocket with two-way zippers, and a beverage pouch. This ultra-lightweight golf bag features highly durable carbon fiber legs with the patented Roller-Bottom leg mechanism for quick and strong leg action.

Upgrade with Lamkin’ Now Live, Program Offers Free Grips to All Golfers in USA and Canada

SAN DIEGO, CA – Lamkin – leading manufacturer of premium golf grips – announces its “Upgrade with Lamkin” program is now live and supported by more than 700 retail locations in the U.S. and Canada. The experience to redeem a voucher for a free grip and installation is quick and easy, with just three steps:

  1. Golfers answer five-questions about their game / preferences and Lamkin’s Grip Selector algorithm suggests three models for the user to consider
  2. A voucher is then emailed to the customer, allowing for one FREE GRIP & FREE INSTALL, plus one additional free grip if installing eight or more grips
  3. Golfers take the voucher to any participating retailer (listed on the voucher and online) to redeem it and #FeelAllTheFeels of Lamkin’s newest innovations

Among the popular retailers participating in the program are Club Champion, Dicks Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, PGA TOUR Superstores and Worldwide Golf locations (Edwin Watts, Las Vegas Superstore, Roger Dunn, The Golf Mart, Uinta Golf, Van’s) in the USA or Golf Town in Canada. Lamkin is supporting retail partners by providing point of sale material, technology solutions to enhance effectiveness and a strong TV and Digital marketing program airing on the Golf Channel starting February 17th, which features Justin Rose and Troy Mullins.

The “Upgrade with Lamkin” program (also known as Regrip America to retailers) was announced in January alongside a new website (www.lamkingrips.com) that includes the company’s digital swinging grip selector. Golfers select their preferences among five variables (weather conditions, swing speed, preference for feel, tack and traction) and the Lamkin AI algorithm suggests three grips from the 2020 line up that players should explore.

Noteworthy among the models available through “Upgrade with Lamkin” are the new 2020 innovations including the ST line and Calibrate Technology grips. The ST (Smooth Tack) features Lamkin’s latest formulation of the company’s Genesis Material to create a smooth, comfortable surface far more durable than standard rubber while maintaining its characteristics in any temperature. Calibrate Technology, the preference of Lamkin ambassador Troy Mullins, creates the most prominent reminder spine of any grip ever produced by Lamkin to help optimize hand placement, club face awareness, control, and feel for better shot-making.

  1. I have ordered grips directly from Lamkin before and was really impressed by the personal nature of their service. I ordered REL 3 GEN grips on a great discount offer. What I received was a personal note from the the company president thanking me for my purchase, in a high quality box and a sealed heavy duty plastic bag. The 3 GEN grips have long been a favorite of mine and I got some of the last run. I look forward to installing some of their new grips this season for sure.
