Club Champion Now Offers Over 65,000 Hittable Club Combinations

WILLOWBROOK, IL – With additions from new brand partners like BADDAZZ Shafts and expansions within several brand lines, Club Champion has surpassed the 65,000 mark for in-store hittable combinations. The globe’s top club fitter and builder reached the 50,000 mark in January of 2021 and hasn’t looked back since.

“Another year, another milestone. 50,000 combinations was incredible, but we’re proud to say we’ve expanded our demo variety even further,” said Adam Levy, Club Champion CEO. “We challenge ourselves to offer the most extensive, in-depth fittings in the industry, and our vendor partnerships and the matrix of options available are key elements of our success.”

With over 20,000 head and shaft combinations for the driver alone, golfers won’t have to worry about finding the right fit at Club Champion. 65,000 is by far the largest number of hittable combinations available to consumers and ensures that Club Champion fitters can find results for any golfer since they have nearly every conceivable option at their fingertips.

Brand agnosticism is a key component in the company’s success — the only goal is to find the best numbers for the golfer in the bay. Big brands like TaylorMade and Callaway are represented alongside niche brands like Miura and PRGR. Club Champion also carries direct-to-fitter shaft brands and other options that aren’t widely available.

MORE Golf, a new American golf club manufacturer, has broken onto the scene with its individualized nature. With unique weighting and adjustability options, these clubs were manufactured to not only be fitted, but to also improve scores, which fits perfectly with Club Champion’s main ideology.

Additionally, BADDAZZ Shafts come from a more familiar brand — with a twist. From the mind of Victor Afable of VA Shafts, BADDAZZ Shafts are a newer player in the equipment industry that creates a high-quality, moderately priced series of driver and iron shafts that complement and enhance the benefits of custom fitting. With high performance and a lower price, golfers will find these shafts on more courses as time goes on.

“There’s no such thing as ‘good enough’ at Club Champion,” Levy said. “Our tagline says it all — with a better fit, you achieve lower scores, and it’s our job to be better than the others so you can play at your best.”

Fast Start for Fujikura Continues

CARLSBAD, CA – Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was delighted to have the winning driver and wood shaft in the bag of both victorious players on the PGA and DP World Tour at the weekend.

At the Hero World Challenge on the PGA Tour, the eventual winner in the Bahamas successfully defended his title using a combination of Fujikura driver and wood shafts. In his driver, the champion in the Caribbean used the Fujikura Speeder 661 TR X flex, along with the VENTUS Blue 7X in his fairway wood shaft. Out of the 10 events on the 2022/23 PGA Tour season, so far five players have claimed their title with a Fujikura shaft in play, a strong start to another highly anticipated season for the leader in performance golf shafts.

Over on the DP World Tour, Fujikura claimed another driver shaft victory at the ISPS Handa Australian Men’s Open. Using a classic combination of a Speeder Evo 6X in his driver and 757 Speeder Evo TX in his fairway wood, the Polish champion made it two victories in two weeks on the DP World Tour for Fujikura driver shafts.

Sun Mountain Introduces Two-for-One Reversible Jacket

MISSOULA, MT – Following the successful launch of the Granite Jacket and Vest, Sun Mountain is adding a reversible option in both styles. Granite II Reversible Jacket and Vest are more than just another puffy. Granite uses 37.5® insulation which retains body heat while preventing moisture build-up and overheating — making it perfect for chilly days on and off the course. The reversible styles offer two distinct looks with a diamond, quilted pattern on one side and smooth finish on the other.

The Granite collection is windproof and water resistant with 37.5 insulation, a patented technology that works to maintain an ideal core temperature. The sixty-gram insulation retains body heat, while active particles embedded in the insulation accelerate vapor movement to prevent overheating and moisture build-up. Further, 37.5 technology resists odors and is permanent and never washes out or gets tired.

Granite II Reversible Jacket and Vest offer a chest pocket and hand warmer pockets (accessible in both directions of the reversible styles), a zip-through collar with chin-guard, a shock cord at the waist, and are packable (fitting into the chest pocket for easy storage).

Granite II Reversible Jacket is available in Sage-Black, Steel-Pacific, Mirage-Platinum, and Black-Fiery Red. Granite II Reversible Vest is available Pacific-Steel, Platinum-Mirage, Fiery Red-Navy, and Black-Platinum.

Sun Mountain is also using 37.5 insulation in the Men’s and Women’s Colter II Jacket and Vest, Women’s AT Hybrid Jacket and Vest, and the Men’s Trapper Jacket.
