Big Max Adds to Award Winning Bag Line Up for 2020

MCARTHUR, CA – Europe’s #1 golf bag and #1 push cart brand BIG MAX is introducing two new golf bag designs to its 2020 line – the Dri Lite Hybrid and Dri Lite Sport. Combining BIG MAX’s water resistant Dri Lite technology with unique practical innovations these bags showcase the reasons that BIG MAX is at the top of European golf’s most wanted list.

BIG MAX DRI LITE technology delivers a water resistant golf bag that features 100% waterproof fabric, specially designed waterproof zippers and a 2.000mm* waterproof rating. With this level of protection, most brands would call Dri Lite waterproof, but with the time and expertise BIG MAX invests in its 100% waterproof Aqua line, the brand is happy to call Dri Lite water resistant, knowing it will keep all but the very wettest days at bay.

The Dri Lite Hybrid is a faultless water-resistant stand bag with unique innovations that allow it to sit perfectly on a cart. Featuring a trolley compatible footless flat base and leg lock system the Hybrid sits perfectly square and secure on a cart or push cart while a neat cut out section in the base adds further stability when combined with a BIG MAX push cart. At the top of the bag the leg mechanism is located lower down the bag, meaning that the reinforced bag connection area makes contact with the cart rather than the legs. This eliminates twisting and provides a perfectly snug fit on the upper bag brackets.

With 7 spacious waterproof pockets, 14 way full length dividers and a host of neat features, the Hybrid has all the function of the best cart bags. But take the hybrid out on its own and it transforms to a stylish lightweight stand bag. The footless stand mechanism works exactly like any other stand bag while the air channel straps allow for breathability and comfort. At just 4.4 lbs the Hybrid is a breeze to carry and keeps all your gear completely dry, however you choose to get it round the course.

The Dri Lite Sport is a stylish, colorful, ultra-light Cart bag that combines a host of practical features with the protection of BIG MAX’s water resistant Dri Lite technology. A 14 way 9.5” organizer top with oversize putter well combines with 9 waterproof pockets, including an oversize cooler pocket, to provide all the space and storage that even the best equipped golfer could need. Neat features such as easy access Velcro glove holder, towel holder, umbrella holder and robust carry handles add to the practical benefits while the ultra light weight of just 4.85 lbs make the Dri Lite Sport simple to transfer from car to cart.

*Hydrostatic testing of waterproof fabric gives a mm per 24 hours rating. This refers to the amount of rainfall a fabric can withstand in a single day. Thus, a 2,000mm waterproof rating means the garment can withstand 2,000mm of rainfall in a single day without letting moisture in.

“I’m looking forward to being back out on the Symetra Tour turning heads with my footwear and my game,” said Michaela. “Duca del Cosma shoes are very comfortable and I love how the design is so thought through – every detail is there for a reason and just completes the look.

“These details put Duca del Cosma at an advantage and they catch people’s eyes right away. I’ll be playing in the POSE shoes a lot in different colors, plus the MARQUESSA shoe in Gold. I love having the opportunity to change my shoes from day to day,” she added.

A graduate from Kent State University, Michaela was a member of ‘The Golden Flashes’ team that won the 21st consecutive Mid-American Women’s Golf Conference championship last year.

A Swedish international player since the age of 14, Michaela was among those making history last year by competing in the first ever women’s amateur event at Augusta. During her short professional career, she has won the Swedish Golf Tour title and been runner up at the Eggland’s Best Tour Championship on the NWGA Tour, the developmental golf Tour for aspiring women professionals.

Once ranked 45th in the world as an amateur, she was a winner of the Jim West Challenge, the Illini Invitational and the MA Championship. She also had top three finishes in the European Girls’ and Ladies Team Championships, plus the Girls’ British Open Amateur Championship.

Duca del Cosma POSE spikeless golf shoes feature Italian styling and fashionable color options in Rose Pink/Navy and Rose white/Black. They incorporate a waterproof bootie system with a breathable membrane and Airplay VI outsole for enhanced stability during the swing, plus a comfortable Arneflex® insole with a memory foam. The metallic Nappa leather MARQUESSA Gold spikeless golf shoe is designed for female golfers looking to impress on and off the golf course. Other models in the style include Gold and Silver versions with animal prints such as Zebra, plus plain Silver. All shoes come with two pairs of luxurious laces to match with different outfits.

Three Nippon Shaft Players Win Over the Weekend

CARLSBAD, CA – Nippon Shaft players proudly held trophies in three of the world’s top tournaments Sunday after winning on the PGA Tour, the Korn Ferry Tour and the LPGA Tour.

Since golf returned four weeks ago following the suspension of play because of the coronavirus pandemic, Nippon Shaft now boasts a total of seven victories on major professional tours, with the MODUS³ series recording six wins and the 950GH series grabbing one.

This past weekend, on the PGA Tour, the winner of the Barracuda Championship used Nippon Shaft N.S. PRO MODUS³ Tour 105 X flex in his irons to win by one point in the Stableford scoring system. It was the first PGA Tour victory for the 28-year-old former Georgia Tech player, who earned 39 points at Old Greenwood Golf Course in Truckee, Calif. near Reno. The champion received exemptions into this week’s PGA Championship and next month’s U.S. Open as well as a two-year playing exemption on the PGA Tour.

In the LPGA’s first tournament back since the coronavirus pandemic shut down golf, a 27-year-old from San Francisco earned her fourth Tour victory at venerable Inverness Club in Toledo. She shot a 7-under par total with rounds of 66-73-70—209 in the 54-hole event. The champion used the time-honored N.S. PRO 950GH steel shafts in her irons and wedges.

Meanwhile, on the Korn Ferry Tour, a 29-year-old out of Georgia Tech recorded his first professional victory using Nippon Shaft’s N.S. PRO MODUS³ Tour 120 TX flex steel shafts in his irons. He shot 7-under par in the final round of the Pinnacle Bank Championship at the Club at Indian Creek in Omaha, Nebraska for a come-from-behind victory.

This year marks the 10-year anniversary of the release of N.S.PRO MODUS³ Tour 120, the first in the MODUS³ series.  With four models, MODUS³ shafts have been in the bags of more than 200 players on every major global tour and have been used in more than 200 tour victories worldwide.
