Kentwool Introduces Spring/Summer Limited-Edition Collection of Merino Wool Socks

GREENVILLE, S.C. — When the weather warms and the outdoors call, it’s imperative to remember the essentials – sunscreen, sunglasses, and a comfortable and moisture wicking pair (or two) of Merino wool socks. Yes, wool socks are as perfect for warm days as they are for cool ones, and Kentwool’s new limited-edition Spring/Summer colorways offer extreme comfort and performance with style that’s sure to set you apart from the pack.

The four new, spirited colorways featured in the Spring/Summer Collection were selected by Kentwool Creative Director and fine artist Marquin Campbell to reflect seasonal color trends as well as the company’s unique flavor. Consisting of Lilac, Lush Green, Morning Blue, and Fawn, all of which are available in both men’s and women’s sizes, the Spring/Summer Collection captures the essence of the season with cool colors that complement the hottest months of the year.

Lauren Luneckas, President, Kentwool Performance Apparel, comments, “Merino wool is considered nature’s perfect performance material for good reason – it keeps you comfortable in all seasons, including in warmer months where its natural temperature-regulating, moisture wicking and odor absorbing properties are critical.” She adds, “Our new limited-edition colors, hand-picked by our talented creative director, are ideal for a wide variety of outdoor activities in the coming months. We only release a limited amount each season, so you’ll need to act fast if you want to add these to your sock collection!”

The key to Kentwool’s impressive combination of comfort, performance, and style is the company’s premium Merino wool yarn as well as the construction of the signature cushioned footbed. In comparison to cotton and many synthetic materials, Merino wool is more odor-resistant and moisture-wicking, making the new Spring/Summer line the ideal Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduation, or birthday gift.

  1. The “NB” logo on the heel counter portion of the New Balance shoe is a significant/modern design improvement over the block “N” logo that makes their shoes look dated. I was considering purchasing a pair of New Balance (spiked) golf shoes but decided against solely (no pun intended) on the basis of the square looking block “N”. I would felt 20 yrs older when I put them on. Hopefully the new design will carry over to their spiked shoe offerings. Another option is to remove the logo entirely.
