Bogey is Life Apparel Review

50 Words or Less

Bogey is Life is an apparel brand that prides itself on unique, loud styles for both on and off the course.

Introduction

Founded by two brothers, Bogey Is Life is all about wearing your personality.  Their goal is to break golfers from the norm of solid colors and into a style that will put a smile on not only your face but everyone in your foursome.

Style

The brand’s style is where Bogey Is Life separates itself from its competitors.  Its blend of 70’s golf and modern day design will add some flair to any golfers closet.  The founders’ out-of-the-box fashion are not only a talking piece but a break from the grays and blues you might see down the line at your local driving range.

Fit

I was impressed with the fit as it’s very true to the medium size that I had for this review.  Some brands have sizes that are baggy or sleeves that come past your elbow.   Other brands sizes are too snug or form-fitted to the point where it may feel like a youth-size shirt.  These find the perfect balance of comfort and ideal fit.

The sleeves are a moderate length and sit just above the elbow crease. The collar area is appropriate, and you can leave the top button undone without exposing any chest hair.

Performance

Performance in a shirt can usually be measured in 2 ways – its ability to withstand those hot days on the course and its restrictiveness when swinging.  The 90% polyester and 10% spandex blend keeps the shirt breathable throughout a round while the spandex gives it flexibility for any shot you may have.  The material is also lighter than other polos I have tried in the past.

Bogey Is Life extended the same materials used in the shirt and incorporated a multi-layer collar as well as reinforced sleeve and base cuffs.  This adds a touch of value and quality to each shirt.

Conclusion

Yes, this brand is certainly a bit wild but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice quality.  The attention to detail shows in every style, no matter how loud or obnoxious the pattern may be.  Rest assured your shirt may stand out, but you’ll feel comfortable doing it.
