Nike Gets Geared Up for Augusta

As if we needed any more reasons to be excited about Masters week, Nike just dropped off the Augusta-inspired gear that their PGA Tour staff will be wearing this week.

Including in this kit are the new Lunar Control II in the limited-edition Masters colorway, the Innovation Woven Cover Up, and the Lightweight Innovation Color Polo that’s featured prominently in Rory’s scripting for this week.

The Lunar Control II is the follow up to my favorite golf shoe of 2013.  You can expect to see a full review here at PluggedInGolf.com very soon, but if you want to snag a pair in Masters colors, don’t wait!

The Innovation Woven Cover Up is a piece that I’ve been wearing for a few weeks now, and it’s become my go-to pullover.  The concept is to combine the sleeves of a sweater with the body of a windbreaker.  As soon as you put it on and swing in it, you’ll wonder why no one came up with this idea sooner.

The Lightweight Innovation Color Polo is a great looking shirt that’s ideal for layering or playing in hot conditions.  In addition to being lightweight, the sleeves are bonded to the body of the shirt which allows it to moves smoothly across your shoulders while you’re swinging.
