PUMA® GOLF INTRODUCES NEW BIODRIVE FOOTWEAR
CARLSBAD, Calif. (Nov. 20, 2014) – Today, PUMA Golf introduces BioDrive – the next generation of golf footwear designed for performance, training and versatility on and off the course, featuring three specialized zones specifically engineered to increase flexibility, balance and stability.
BioDrive’s three performance zones provide superior grip and control on course, utilizing multiple decoupled octagon shaped pods in the forefoot for flexibility and increased ground contact and traction. Additionally, the mid-foot axis point allows for supportive torsional movement for a balanced feel, and lastly, four connected pods in the heel provide a sturdy platform for unmatched stability.
“Training in the gym and on the course is important for golfers of all levels. And when you need to go from the weight room to the range it’s vital to have the right footwear. I love the versatility and performance of the BioDrive shoes,” said Joey D Diovisalvi, a golf fitness expert and COBRA PUMA GOLF ambassador. “It’s a great performer on the course that allows the golfer to grip the ground through their swing but can also be worn to the gym. From a biomechanics standpoint, it provides the flexibility, stability and balance necessary for optimal performance.”
Infused with PUMA Golf’s signature colors and progressive golf style, the BioDrive’s silhouette is designed to mimic a fast, athletic shoe while the outsole is inspired by features of a traditional golf shoe. The outsole contains 10 strategically positioned octagons providing 130 unique points of traction. The traction on the perimeter of each octagon is designed with a larger surface area to provide better traction on indoor, smoother surfaces, while traction on the center octagons provide stable performance on the golf course. A waterproof performance ripstop mesh upper that is lightweight and breathable and helps golfers stay cool and protected in any weather. The shoe comes with a 2-year waterproof warranty.
“The BioDrive was literally designed from the ground up. Starting with the outsole we focused on three zones – the heel, the midfoot and the forefoot – keeping in mind all the elements important to a golfer – comfort, fit, flexibility and balance,” said Grant Knudson, head of footwear, PUMA Golf. “This spikeless, versatile shoe allows golfers to go straight from work to the gym, to the range, or to play 18.”
Built on an all-new anatomical, roomy comfort last, the carbon rubber in the shoe’s outsole ensures an excellent grip and long-lasting durability, while a TPU perimeter wrap is bonded 360 degrees around the shoe for improved protection and durability.
The BioDrive ($140) is available in four color combinations—Strong Blue/Peacoat/Fluro Yellow, Black/Turbulence/Puma Red, Tradewinds/White/Vibrant Orange and Black/White/Turbulence —and hits golf retailers starting December 15. Missoula, Montana – For 2015, Sun Mountain is expanding its collection of top-selling C-130 golf cart bags to include three different models: a stand bag, a version with a 7-way divided top, and the standard 14-way divided top. All three models are in stores now at $239 for the C-130S stand bag and $229 for the C-130 7-way and 14-way. Call 800-227-9224 or visit www.sunmountain.com to find your nearest retailer.
The C-130S stand bag is for cart-golfers who like to carry their bag to the practice range and enjoy the convenience of the stand. The C-130 7-way has a seven-way divided top for those who don’t care for the individual club dividers. And, the C-130 14-way is the traditional version of the C-130 for golfers who prefer the individual, club-divided top.
All versions of the C-130 are designed to work optimally on a riding cart. Features in common across all C-130 models include the reverse-orientation top and the three utility handles integrated into the top that offer multiple hand-holds for picking the bag up. Each model also has a cart-strap tunnel which allows the cart strap to pass through the bag and not block access to any of the bag’s pockets or crush any of the pockets’ contents.
One of the hallmarks of the C-130 is pocket space. All models of the C-130 feature: two full-length clothing pockets, two velour-lined valuables pockets (including one sized for a rangefinder), a beverage pocket, and several additional pockets for balls and tees and other accessories. C-130 7-way and 14-way also offer an integrated putter well.

Bettinardi Golf Introduces Its New Wedge Series
Tinley Park, IL, November 20, 2014- Bettinardi Golf, makers of the highest quality precision milled putters in the world, is thrilled to announce its new product offering into the wedge category.
Since 1998, Robert Bettinardi has sought to produce a perfectly crafted wedge. With the culmination of his experience in engineering, expertise, and quality control, Bettinardi found an impeccable blend of performance and design that suited his most discerning eye.
The new H2 wedge series from Bettinardi combines the finest look and ultimate playability in a forged wedge. “H2 stands for high helix, which is an aggressive machine tool that cuts the face of each wedge at an extremely rapid rate on a CNC machine,” says Robert Bettinardi, President/CEO of Bettinardi Golf. “This face milling leaves a unique, USGA-approved milling pattern that provides maximum spin and improved contact”. The milled grooves on the face generate a very distinctive feel, while still producing the proper amount of spin from both wet and dry conditions.
The Bettinardi wedges feature a tour inspired C-Grind sole that allows the leading edge to rest on the ground slightly longer at impact. This particular grind makes open face wedge shots easier to execute, and allows for more forgiveness on mid-range approaches and provides versatility on all wedge shots.
The Bettinardi H2 wedges are available in two durable right-handed finishes. Satin Nickel delivers a classic, glare-resistant look while Cashmere Bronze provides an elegant and confidence inspiring appearance at address.
