Former #1 World Ranked Amateur Ollie Schniederjans Signs With Matte Grey

Los Angeles, CA – July 24th, 2015 – HAUS OF GREY announces a multi-year apparel partnership with former #1 world ranked amateur golfer and recent graduate from Georgia Tech, Ollie Schniederjans. The 22-year-old American-born athlete will make his pro debut wearing Matte Grey sportswear this week during the RBC Canadian Open, but don’t let his youth fool you; he is no stranger to the pro game.

As the 2014 McCormack Award recipient, Schniederjans earned an exemption into both the 2015 US Open and the recent Open Championship, placing T-42nd at Chambers Bay and T-12th at St Andrews respectively. Ollie is only the 3rd amateur golfer since 1960 to make the cut in the same calendar year for both Open majors. With an impressive amateur career under his belt, Ollie’s future as a professional has great potential and will get underway fast as he targets additional starts on the PGA Tour over the coming weeks.

“Ollie is an incredible young man with a world of talent and couldn’t be a better fit for our men’s brand and sportswear collection, Matte Grey,” says Travis Johnson, Co-Founder and President of Haus of Grey. Johnson adds, “We’ve waited patiently during our first few years of business to find the next rising star in golf, and there’s no doubt in my mind that Ollie is going to be that guy.”

“I’m thrilled to represent Matte Grey,” said Schniederjans. “I admire the brand’s commitment to creating apparel that is clean, contemporary and designed for the modern golfer’s active lifestyle. They really have a passion for the game and will be a great partner as I enter this exciting new chapter in my career.”

Schniederjans not only has the opportunity to forge his own path and name in the game, but he’ll be easily recognized on the fairway through his own look and style. Kelli Marie Riley, Vice-President and Co-Founder of Haus of Grey says, “I love that Ollie has chosen to maintain his individuality. It shows he has strong roots and is going to stay true to himself.” Riley adds, “It takes maturity and confidence to make decisions like this and it will only enhance his own personal brand as he stands out for the right reasons.”

Go Play Golf Reaches New Demographics With Go Play Golf Gift Cards™

NEWPORT BEACH, CA, July 29, 2015… Go Play Golf, Inc., providers of the industry’s first and only national golf gift card, announces it is reaching new demographics in the golf industry with its Go Play Golf Gift Cards™.

“Our purchasing information has shown that 70% of the people who buy our Go Play Golf Gift Cards are non-golfing females between the ages of 25 and 54 and given to men who play golf,” said Loralei Abels, Founder, Go Play Golf, Inc. “This opens up a new market and puts us in a unique position to increase incremental spending in the golf industry, while also driving new business to golf courses.”

The Go Play Golf Gift Card program provides a real mechanism to create demand at the golf course level for pre-paid greens fees and instruction. To date, Go Play Golf has driven business to more than 2600 golf courses nationwide.

“We have created a great opportunity to influence non-golfers and reach a market segment that traditional golf courses will never reach,” continued Abels. “To ensure maximum exposure, we have positioned the Go Play Golf Gift Cards for sale at popular retail outlets where non-golfers shop on a daily basis.”

Go Play Golf has leveraged the more than $100 billion gift card industry to create the most robust golf redemption program in the country. The gift cards, available in increments of $25-$500, are available for purchase at Walmart, Amazon, Office Depot, high-end grocery stores, and thousands of other retailers. The Go Play Golf gift cards can be redeemed by golfers to purchase greens fees and golf lessons throughout the United States.

“We started this company because we saw a real need for growth in the industry. By targeting non-golfers, we are able to provide a solution for this need while also creating a new and much appreciated way to give the gift of golf,” added Abels.
