Former #1 World Ranked Amateur Ollie Schniederjans Signs With Matte Grey
Los Angeles, CA – July 24th, 2015 – HAUS OF GREY announces a multi-year apparel partnership with former #1 world ranked amateur golfer and recent graduate from Georgia Tech, Ollie Schniederjans. The 22-year-old American-born athlete will make his pro debut wearing Matte Grey sportswear this week during the RBC Canadian Open, but don’t let his youth fool you; he is no stranger to the pro game.
As the 2014 McCormack Award recipient, Schniederjans earned an exemption into both the 2015 US Open and the recent Open Championship, placing T-42nd at Chambers Bay and T-12th at St Andrews respectively. Ollie is only the 3rd amateur golfer since 1960 to make the cut in the same calendar year for both Open majors. With an impressive amateur career under his belt, Ollie’s future as a professional has great potential and will get underway fast as he targets additional starts on the PGA Tour over the coming weeks.

Minneapolis resident and Minnesota Wild defenseman Jordan Leopold will help announce the partnership at the final day of The First Tee Life Skills & Leadership Academy, sponsored by Country Inns & Suites By Carlson. Leopold will share with more than 100 teens from around the country, personal leadership experiences and how hard work propelled him to realize his current dreams of becoming a professional hockey player.
