Win ANY shaft from Fujikura! Full Details Below
The Right Shaft is Everything
There are few things in golf more important than having equipment, particularly a shaft, that fits your swing. Fujikura knows this, which is why they offer a broad range of shafts and have developed a strong network of Charter Dealers: expert club fitters who can get you into the best Fujikura shaft for your game. But what if you can’t get to a Fujikura Charter Dealer? Well, as the iPhone ads used to say, “There’s an app for that.”
Fujikura has created one of the best mobile fitting apps in the business. By answering 4 simple questions, you can get a very good idea of which Fujikura shaft will work best for you.
The first question is, “How do you Load the shaft?” You have choices of Smooth, Medium, and Strong. What’s particularly good is that each question comes with an explanation, pictures, and a video showing you what each term means. For me, the answer is Strong.
Next, you get to pick your Weight. Your choices are -60, 60-70, or 70+, though you may lose certain options depending on your Load answer. I opted for 70+.
Your third choice is Launch. You can select High, Medium, or Low launch, though, again, some choices disappear based on previous answers. I prefer a Medium launch.
Finally, you choose your Angle of Descent: Minimum Roll, Medium Roll, or Maximum Roll. I opted for Maximum Roll.
After you make your final choice, the app provides you with shaft recommendations. Based on my preferences, I was given the choices of the Motore Speeder VC7.2, EXS 7.2, Motore F3 80, or the Motore F1 75. While I haven’t played the EXS or Motore lines, I do know that the Motore Speeder 7.2 is an excellent fit for my swing.
By tapping the Motore Speeder 7.2, I’m brought to a screen the gives me more details about the shaft and offers me the options of Finding a Dealer, Checking for an Offer (currently you can get a FREE FITTING at a Fujikura Charter Dealer), or Sharing My Fit via Facebook or Twitter.
Here’s How You Enter
1) Download the Fujikura App on your smart phone
2) Go through the Driver Fitting Tool
UPDATE! You can also use the Fitting Tool on the Fujikura website HERE
3) After you’ve chosen a shaft, select “Share Your Shaft”. Modify the body of the message as follows:
“I am entered to win a (your shaft) from #Fujikura thanks to @PluggedInGolf”
4) Share your results with that message on Twitter.
5) Follow @PluggedInGolf and @FujikuraOnTour

Great contest! I’d love to get my hands on one of these. Beautiful!
You have any suggestions for new shafts for irons? How much could they help?
Mike,
New iron shafts can make a huge difference. The question is: What do you want them to do? Higher? Lower? Lighter? Heavier?
Best,
Matt
Straighter would be best….JK. Thats the question I dont have an answer to. I’ve always played stock shafts and I always hear how they will make a difference. Not sure where I would start to find out. My personal opinion would be higher. i currently play RazrX’s
Have you ever worked with a fitter before? I think some time with someone like Club Champion would be very illuminating. A good fitter will answer questions you don’t even know you have.
Best,
Matt
Never worked with one before. Maybe I’ll check one out and see how they can work their magic. Have any suggestions in the Phoenix area?
Thanks!
I think Cool Clubs and HotStix are both in Arizona, though I’m not sure where. I know they both carry great reputations, but I can’t speak to their work personally.
Best,
Matt
