Introduction

Where do some of the PGA and LPGA Tour’s most stylish players go when they’re tired of using the same headcovers as every other golfer?  CRU Golf.  Boasting an ever-expanding professional roster that includes Rickie Fowler and Paula Creamer, CRU has established itself as one of the premier companies in the leather headcover game.  Thankfully, you don’t need to be on Tour to score some of these great leather headcovers, you’ve just got to have style.

Quality & Design

The goal of Adam Blake, CRU’s founder, was to create headcovers that could be handed down from one generation to the next.  With the quality of these headcovers, there’s no reason that shouldn’t happen.

Equally important, these headcovers are designed to pull on and off easily while providing good protection for your clubs.  If you think that’s an easy task, try making one of your own.  The putter cover deserves even higher praise for it’s unique design that holds on very securely without any risk of scratching the putter.

Customization

In addition to offering many stock options, CRU allows golfers to create custom headcovers for that one-of-a-kind look.  The number of possible combinations is nearly limitless since CRU allows you to customize the colors of the body, panel, piping, and pattern, and that’s before you add custom embroidery or laser engraving.

Now, what if you’re unsure which piece is the panel and which piece is the piping?  Or you can’t decide if a diamond would look better than a chevron?  To answer all those questions, CRU offers a fantastic custom design tool that lets you see your design before you place your order. You can check it out HERE.  Fair warning: don’t click that link unless you’re ready to devote a lot of time to designing the perfect cover.  It’s addictive.

Also, we just received word of a new option from CRU.  You can now have your signature on your headcovers, just like the pros.  The set up fee for this is $45.

Conclusion

Whether you opt for one of CRU Golf’s stock covers or decide to design your own leather masterpiece, you will not be disappointed with the quality and craftsmanship of the finished product.  In an era when golf clubs are as replaceable as a pair of socks, it’s nice to own something that’s meant to last for generations.

This is a terrible company to work with. It’s like talking in a dark hole! The head covers I bought didn’t fit my driver or rescue clubs. I returned the head covers and asked and was told I would receive a refund. The refund never came. I had to open a dispute with Pay Pal to get a refund.

    Buy elsewhere!
