Best iron shafts ever produced you can find similarity to the wood shafts Tour AD di in my opinion.
Soft but and not stout that’s give the right feeling trajectory and shot dispersion.
I think most of golfers from hcp 15 and better can feel the difference with Nippon shafts.
i’m 61 years of age and playing Mizuno mp4 with Nippon Modus 120 gram and Nippon wedge shafts.

Have played Apex 4 shafts in my irons for years and have finally come to realize that its time to put pride aside and admit that I can no longer load a stiff shaft. Have lost more approx a half club in distance and at times find myself swinging harder in hopes of getting the distance back and now accuracy is starting to suffer. At 115g. I would also like to go lighter however I don’t want to switch to graphite. After doing some research and demoing I thing the NS Pro 950 GH r flex appears to be the perfect upgrade.

I’ve been gaming with the 130 on my epon tour blades, they’re so tight in dispersion yet easy to launch the ball high without losing distance. Much better feel than the c-tapers I was using.

I’ve been wanting to try these forever. I get tremendous compression/distance from KBS C-Taper & Project X, X/6.5 SSX2 so I have more weight w/o stiffness, but my accuracy much better w/S400s. I alternate between 3 sets of irons, so trying to sample the these here just not affordable. The best & most accurate amateur player I know uses them w/ his AP2s.
Just realized I need to include what kind shafts. Would have to ask what’s comparable to my current, but 130X SS2 is my standard shaft.

Hello Everyone,
If I were fortunate enough to win these great looking quality shafts I would choose the NS Pro V90 S flex shafts.
I reside in Downers Grove, Illinois, home of the Downers Grove Golf Club (Chicago Golf Club’s first course) the first 18 hole golf course in America & the first nine-hole course west of the Alleghenies. Architect Charles Blair Macdonald brought golf to Chicago after having been introduced to the game by his grandfather while attending college in St. Andrews, Scotland. His first set of clubs came from Old Tom Morris shop in St. Andrews, Macdonald was in love with the game (much like most of us) after playing his first hole. Golf being a foreign game he wasn’t able to play often after moving to Chicago in 1892. Macdonald, after being asked to lay out a course by some visiting English students had an epiphany after which he convinced twenty friends at the exclusive Chicago Club to finance the course. After collecting $10 each from the twenty friends he chose a sixty acre farm in Belmont just south of what is now Ogden Avenue in Downers Grove, fortunately the property was owned by an A. Haddow Smith who just happened to be a golfer who had come to the U.S. from Scotland, he was so excited about the idea he offered up his farm. Golf historian Warren Wind, golf architecture expert Ron Whitten of Golf Digest, author Robert Sommers and others recognize the Belmont site as the first 18 holes in America, as does the United States Golf Association. In 1968, the Downers Grove Park District purchased the course, their making steady improvements since DGGC has become one of the premier 9 hole municipal courses in the nation. A current renovation plan for the club house including a learning center started in August. If you visit Chicago remember this, you are a quick twenty minute drive from either major airport, O’hare or Midway, from the chance to play this historic course. Mistwood Golf Club in Romeoville is only 20 minutes from Downers Grove, Mistwood is consistently ranked in the top 100 courses in the nation, also 20 minutes from DG you’ll find Dupage County’s newly renovated course The Preserve at Oak Meadows in Addison, the course under a previous manifestation is where Ben Hogan won the Chicago Victory Open in 1945, we’re also under 20 minutes from Butler National in Oak Brook, Chicago Golf Club in Wheaton, Arrow Head Golf Club in Wheaton, Cantigny Golf, also in Wheaton, Seven Bridges in Woodridge, 30 minutes from Prairie Landing in West Chicago, Dubsdread at Cog Hill C.C. in Lemont, Ruffled Feathers Golf Club also in Lemont, 35 minutes from Medinah Country Club- Course #3, in Medinah, 45 minutes from Pine Meadow Golf Club in Mundelein, Heritage Bluffs in Channahon, Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Merit Club in Libertyville, North Shore Country Club in Glenview, and many more wonderful public and private courses like River Bend in Lisle, Flagg Creek in Countryside, and Butterfield Country Club in Oakbrook, and Hinsdale Country Club in Hinsdale. We are truly blessed with these and several other wonderful nearby walks that make our area one of the largest concentrations of world class golf in the nation.
