Scott Readman Concepts Putter Covers – Blue Ribbon Gear
Headcover and putter cover companies are popping up everywhere these days. Some are really good, some are really bad (like, terrible). Others set themselves apart by making great products with an interesting story like Scott Readman Concepts. SRC has been a good friend of PluggedInGolf since we first reviewed their putter covers about two years ago. Aside from being great people, their ability to create fully custom, high quality, handmade products out of interesting materials is unparalleled.
Scott Readman is a two-person team based out of a small shop in Bristol, England. Every product purchased from them has passed through the hands of either Scott or Emma Concepts (as we call her) with full attention paid to every detail. Through many conversations with them over the years, it is apparent that SRC takes great pride in their product and knows that anything leaving their shop is a reflection of their brand no matter who it’s for. For this reason, the SRC team treats every project as if its the biggest they’ve ever done.
SRC Putter Covers
Scott Readman currently offers both custom and “production” putter covers. No matter the size and shape of your putter, SRC can cover it. Pictured in this post are mostly custom covers, but the SRC production lines consist of Bristol’s own Banksy themed covers (above), as well as covers made of vinyl, Pittards leather, Harris tweed, vintage kimono silks, snake skin, and many other crazy materials.
If custom is what you’re looking for, there isn’t an idea SRC can’t make into reality. As their reputation has grown, SRC’s custom covers have been found in the bags of celebrities all over the world. Some famous golfers with SRC covers in the bag are Chris Wood, Andy Sullivan, Kiradech Aphibarnrat, Byeong-Hun An, Bill Bush, and Danny Willett to name a few.
