Nippon Shaft Wins BMW Championship

CARLSBAD, CA – A player using Nippon Shaft products recorded a five-shot, wire-to-wire victory at the BMW Championship at Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Illinois north of Chicago. It was Nippon Shaft’s seventh victory on the PGA TOUR in the 2016-17 season.

The 33-year-old Australian champion played the Nippon Shaft N.S. PRO MODUS³ Tour 130 X-flex steel shafts in his irons and wedges. His final round included six birdies, including three on the last four holes to seal the victory. The victory boosted him to fourth place in the FedExCup rankings.

Six of the 30 players headed for the Tour Championship in Atlanta use Nippon Shaft, including one who finished T-7 at Conway Farms.

BMW Championship Winner Used 3 Fujikura Shafts

Speeder Evo II Powered Driver to Victory

VISTA, CA – This past weekends BMW Championship featured a dominant performance from the winner who lead the tournament wire to wire with a 23-under par performance.  The winner played the Callaway Epic paired with the Fujikura Speeder 757 Evolution II in his driver, and the Motore Speeder 9.2 Tour Spec in his three wood.  The low launching, low spinning performing shaft helped him gain 1.32 strokes off the tee.  He also finished tied for 9th in accuracy off the tee.
